I love the most what Soig did! He did not that much, but his work is really valuable. I can't say the same about EZGames69 who has TASed planty of short and easy games like he was hunting for this award. I vote for quality, not for quantity!
TASing is like making a film: only the best takes are shown in the final movie.

I personally cannot express any support for EZGames69 as TASer of the year. There were multiple times this year he submitted fairly sloppy movies that others, including myself had to look into and fix. Bonk's Revenge I personally only worked on because I noticed relatively obvious things that can be fixed in the movie that he had up until that point. I cannot support someone that frequently makes movies that just barely have the minimum amount of effort put into them to look ok to a general audience.
[16:36:31] <Mothrayas> I have to say this argument about robot drug usage is a lot more fun than whatever else we have been doing in the past two+ hours
[16:08:10] <BenLubar> a TAS is just the limit of a segmented speedrun as the segment length approaches zero

Personally I don't quite understand the nominations for me either, given that the guidelines for this award are based on publications. I feel I didn't put that much out there this year compared to a bunch of the other candidates, I tended to be busy with other stuff.

My nomination happened because after watching your work I could feel everything was both perfect and entertaining.

EZGames69 for his extensive great job on making 22 TASes on 10 different platforms; Challenger for some very entertaining movies; and keylie for his Linux TASing revolution.
Games are basically math with a visual representation of this math, that's why I make the scripts, to re-see games as math. My things: YouTube, GitHub, Pastebin, Twitter

You are right. Those games which keylie TASed were impressive. libTAS is a milestone! So, I decided to also vote him.

Fun fact: Normally a TASer works with more than one system, but this time, a winner is a TASer that worked with only one system (although this is the second time - first was from 2012).
