Has there been any progress on trying to get the glitch to work properly? The author has not logged in since 2022, and has not made a forum post since making the one above.

Yesterday I converted the run to FM2 and tried getting it to sync in FCEUX...but the emulator crashed partway through, and I couldn't get the rom to boot again after that.

A reminder that it's been determined that tricks that were found after a run's submission are not supposed to count against said submission.

I suggest that #1660: Hongbaichaoren's NES Super C in 12:35.93 is removed from Gruefood Delight due to [3239] NES Super C "1 player" by Xipo, feos & Koh1fds in 11:50.40 rendering it obsolete and redundant.

This run was rejected due to entertainment rules that no longer apply. I therefore request this run is re-evaluated.

This run was rejected for entertainment rules that no longer apply, and it's possible this might no longer be considered a bad game choice. I therefore request this run is re-evaluated.

Whilst looking for runs of hacks I found several Mario World and Super Metroid hacks that do not currently have a published run on this site: * #6319: Darkdevil's SNES 2 Player Co-op Quest! "small only, all normal levels" in 04:21.90 * #2635: Hoandjzj's SNES AngryFireChozo "101%" in 35:50.33 * #3172: Hoandjzj's SNES Super Metroid Phazon in 35:11.67 * #6325: EZGames69's SNES Steamed Hams but It's a Super Mario World ROM Hack in 01:37.57 * #4628: Dessyreqt's SNES Super Metroid: HISHE "0%" in 03:43.78 Those last two were April Fools submissions of short joke hacks, and I don't know whether or not they're acceptable. I also found some submissions that were rejected for being runs of "unapproved hacks", whatever that means. I'm holding off on those until I'm more familiar with that rule.

With [6313] NES Super Mario Bros. "minimum presses" by Brandon in 05:48.04 now having been published, should this run be re-evaluated too?

Think I actually need the "Super Mario Bros. Deluxe"...which is the previous version of Super Mario Bros: Enhanced, version 1.2. I cannot find this 1.2 version on romhacking, smwcentral, or on another random site. https://www.romhacking.net/reviews/11276/ Is the closest thing to it, but it is version 1.3 and I think that is why it is not syncing. It desyncs very early as well.
I asked Igor via PM if they still had that version of the hack, and they said they no longer have it.

Yeah, I completely missed that. My apologies, that's on me.

you're just re-suggesting things that's already been mentioned.
This, on the other hand, I couldn't disagree more with. Those posts are from half a year ago, several pages back, and not everyone is gonna comb through those pages looking for runs that have already been suggested.

However, in saying that I went against it later in going for a re-judging due to emulation improvements that were pending for the release of BizHawk 2.10 (which is now released).
I went to DrD2k9's page that you linked. Of the runs on that page's "Need reviewed" tab, #5489: Uroboros's GC Resident Evil 2 "Claire B" in 49:51.21, #6351: arkiandruski's DS Elite Beat Agents "low score" in 1:00:52.99, and #4237: RealMyop's SNES Super Road Blaster in 17:21.21 (the latter of which I mentioned before) are worth a re-evaluation.

I should've known there'd be a rejected Dragon's Lair submission somewhere. I recommend that this is re-evaluated, for the same reasons as [6357] Wii Fast Draw Showdown by Cyorter in 10:41.27 and [6303] SegaCD Mad Dog McCree by EZGames69 in 08:30.31.

#6796: CasualPokePlayer's GBC Pokémon: Gold Version "game end glitch" in 30:01.80 has been on my mind for a while. Is it OK to be re-reviewed, or is it not distinctive enough from [6237] GBC Pokémon: Crystal Version "save glitch" by CasualPokePlayer in 02:10.82?
[6324] GBC Pokémon: Gold Version "game end glitch" by CasualPokePlayer in 29:58.35
Interesting. I completely missed that. Thanks for letting me know.

Does this run sync on modern versions of Mupen? I remember seeing a forum post claiming it doesn't, but I can't seem to find it now.

[1302] NES EarthBound Beginnings (Prototype) by Nitrodon in 47:56.08 The patterns that pop up whenever a melody is played/collected kinda bug my eyes a bit.

So I was looking at Soig's 8 rejected runs today, and of those runs, #3183: Soig's Genesis Contra: Hard Corps "2P & best ending" in 18:57.87 and #5656: Soig's Genesis Contra: Hard Corps "100%" in 1:17:21.79 stand out to me the most due to being rejected before the rules on the number of different branches were loosened up.

As of now, there are 60 submissions marked as Playground. None of them have been given their own dedicated "Playground" page on the site, and there hasn't been a new entry in this list since September 21, 8 days before the submission acceptance threshold was loosened as per Post #532024. I would suggest going through all the Playground submissions and changing them to either accepted or rejected, but what do you guys think?

Reiterating my above post, as the aforementioned submission has now been published and several other submissions on the page are either published or are in the process of being published.

Went and took another look at Gruefood Delight, this time in the April Fools section. My time is limited right now, but right off the bat, #3515: RachelB's Wii The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess "glitched" in 00:22.65, #3523: Bobo_the_King's SNES Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars "Beetle Mania, maximum score" in 45:35.38, and #2611: adelikat's N64 Elmo's Letter Adventure "Playaround" in 01:12.40 stick out to me. (I'll take another, more closer look at the April Fools section once Christmas is over.)

A few moments ago I took another look through Gruefood Delight, this time focusing on the "Hacks/Homebrews" category. #2003: max12187566's NES Super Lion King in 05:24.38, #2042: HappyLee's NES Full Moon Mario in 05:11.58, and #2544: True's NES Somari in 24:14.09 all look enticing at first glance, but the first two were submitted 16 years ago and the optimization on the latter was deemed to be less than par. The one that sticks out the most to be is #4563: IgorOliveira666's SNES Super Mario Bros. Enhanced "warps" in 11:02.71, which I believe was judged during a time where the site was much more strict on romhacks than it is now. Then I took another look at Gruefood Delight's "Alternate Goals" category. The runs there that stick out to me the most are #872: Genisto's GBA Mario Kart: Super Circuit "Playaround" in 43:49.38, #1660: Hongbaichaoren's NES Super C in 12:35.93, #1783: Genisto's SNES Super Mario World "playaround" in 52:39.23, #1801: Genisto's SNES Super Mario World "playaround" in 45:30.42, #1991: AngerFist's NES Mega Man 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 in 02:42.90, #2624: MUGG's GB Super Mario Land "walkathon" in 15:00.23, #2704: Felipe's Genesis Sonic the Hedgehog 2 "Without SpinDash" in 22:29.52, #2828: scrimpeh's NES Castlevania "no subweapons, no damage" in 13:18.44, #3556: Brandon's NES Super Mario Bros. "minimum presses" in 05:48.04, #4121: Sam's N64 The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time "Ganonless" in 31:13.17, #3952: coconou's SNES The Smurfs "Pacifist, No Damage" in 24:10.30, #3965: c-square's NES Super Jeopardy! in 25:28.57, #5656: Soig's Genesis Contra: Hard Corps "100%" in 1:17:21.79, and #6774: Baddap1's NES Extra Mario Bros. "bad ending" in 05:26.78. Wow, that's a lot more games than I thought I would list here.
