This is a game about two furries who decided to wake up as zombies and save Zues's daughter, in an epic tale of hot TF action.
So one thing you probably noticed is this movie is slower than the current publication. This is because the publication does not use Hard mode, and the previous judge of that movie said the next submission should use hard mode instead.
to get to hard mode however, it does require a bit of a code, but all it is is pressing B then start to access special options, this includes starting lives, stage select, and of course, difficulty settings. I can assure that the only thing accessed on this menu was the difficulty.
Hard mode simply adds more spawning enemies and gives more health to bosses. The more enemies that are on screen, the slower the screen will move. It's important to kill enemies as soon as possible to maximize screen movement. Although some cases it may be slower due to some characters not having the powerups to kill right away.
Stage 1
so for the zombie enemies, you can kill them in one hit if you get close enough to them and start glowing yellow, once that happens you can kill them with one punch. I found that a crouching punch does faster damage than the kick or standing punch, but the range is not as long as kicks.
there was also a neat glitch I found with the tombstones where if you jump and land in a certian spot between two tombstones, you will clip into them, this was useful to killing a zombie that would otherwise be unreachable.
near the end of the stage, I didnt kill the blue wolf as fast as I could since I needed him to get into place to do the TF skip, if both players collect power ups at the same time, only one cutscene will play. and TF's need to happen because it 1) makes your attacks more powerful and 2) the boss will run away unless both players have the TF upgrades. If that happens, the stage plays for another loop.
I was able to get behind this boss with very precise movement to spam the attacks and hit on every frame possible.
Stage 2
This stage has a really annoying enemy, snakes. It’s not possible to hit the snakes from the ceiling unless you have the 2nd power up, which gives you a bit of a height boost (possibly because of the larger sprite).
for this boss, the eyes go all over the place, but if you are in one spot where you can repeatedly damage it, it dies pretty quickly.
Stage 3
this stage was a bit annoying since enemies would fly down from the ceiling.
for this boss, you need to hit him back into the right before you can do damage. and that damage has to be done to the head. what we can do is do frame perfect jumping to avoid getting knocked back by him.
Stage 4
Nothing worth of note here other than the boss. This boss has the longest I-Frames of any boss in the game, which is why you might think I'm not attacking as frequently as I should be.
Stage 5
there are instances with the final boss where it can damage you if you run into his punches or kicks, but with a bit of jumping, that can be completely avoided.
