So now that we dont have to use the old avsync revisions, i have been trying to fogure out proper video dumping. Video is the easiest part of everyone but audio always desyncs for me. Audio is almost always longer than my video files and starts out in sync then desyncs along the way. Have we found a way to fix this?

I think you have to put video to 59.94fps :P
Current: Rayman 3 maybe? idk xD Paused: N64 Rayman 2 (with Funnyhair) GBA SMA 4 : E Reader (With TehSeven) TASVideos is like a quicksand, you get in, but you cannot quit the sand

The video would be even shorter than the audio dude. The video is 60fps already and the audio is longer than the video. The video starts out synced then something happens.

Why would it make the video shorter? If it's at a lower framerate, then surely it should be longer, and therefore it might work to sync?

Yeah, reducing the frame rate like that would slow the video down, not speed it up.

with audacity you can change tempo without changing pitch...

by changing the audio, you could be speeding up the very beginning of the video (which is already in sync) while MAYBE fixing the ending or just somewhere in the middle. My main question was: is there settings on dolphin to make this easier(such as how it was in 4.0.2 -> where you just recorded and dumped both audio and video and merged the two, done!)..

It doesn't sound like the settings are bad. Post some pictures of your config settings

I may know what is going on, I think the dump feature is skipping frames. Here is the screenshot of VI 635, 636 and 637 in the ikaruga WIP (http://tasvideos.org/userfiles/info/18954596001392115) And from the video dump, frames 1132 and 1133:

revision? EDIT: nevermind, found out the revision. EDIT 2: This is a bug with Windows video dumping (VFW). This issue is not present in linux (libav).
