That was absolutely incredible. The Koala Kong fight was hilarious and Heavy Machinery was obliterated.
Yeah that pretty much sums it up. This is outstanding.

Pirohiko, when you are facing Cortex and when you defeat him, for extra input (so you don't really have to) you can make Crash suicide off the blimp at the right time (as Cortex falls) and a falling sound and a Cheer sound will go off if done correctly.
Forward Jump while Cortex falls.
Sorta like this (video is old that's why I look shit while playing it).

So over the past few months while grinding out 100% SS attempts I noticed some odd variations that would occur while I would go for the Exit Portal Skip in 'The Great Gate.' I thought they were interesting so I made a few highlights that compares what normally happens to a few possibilities of what can happen. I think these are really just related to the slipping effect that can occur and less to do with that I was on an exit portal; it just so happens that the exit portal is the only place I intentionally go for it.
(Mute the audio; these are highlighted from my live stream.)
So here is what a normal jump looks like:

In this one I get a bit of the slipping effect but it doesn't effect my second jump at all.
In this one I get a boosted jump that is much higher than a normal jump:

I almost clear the top of the exit portal sparkle dust which is pretty tall.
In this one I get kind of reflected of the exit portal:

In this one I get slightly pushed backwards at the start of my second jump.
So this was just something interesting that I was noticing occurred from time to time. Perhaps you all will be able to find a good use for it. (I'm still crossing my fingers that you all finally manage to make the jump in Up The Creek in order to get the gem in 1 pass.)

(Everything from CaneofPacci)
We all know about that there are 2 tas runs (excuse me 3, someone didn't put their one to be voted) it's a lot better for 100% than any%
Also goodluck trying to beat my friend Samura1man, did you know his WR is now: 00:53:01?

Wrong. Samura got 50something eons ago. Also, Cane holds the WR himself.
I really need to start paying attention again to this game XD
We just recently made a leader board!
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AhkCyoaiK2XmdFZsRVZFTlVjUjdiUnJKZURfS0hpYlE#gid=16
There are tabs at the bottom to switch between games but we have Spyro 1-5, Crash 1-5, CTR, and Crash Bash (someone told me to include that game but no one we know who plays it has completed a run of it).
Because its rather new its not a complete list (specifically Crash 2 and 3) so if you know of stuff that needs to be added then let us know. Also I beat both of Samura1man's times. I've gotten Any% down to 48:39 and 100% down to 1:21:25.

Sweet I'm going to check that out

So I screwed up in a run the other day and found a new strat for Pinstripe. It saves 1 to 1.5 seconds (1.42 in the comparison I made) in my RTA runs.

So just mentioning on the update pirohiko has done.
Piro's up to the second half of the third island, showing off more velocity craziness in Sunset Vista as well as going above the camera.
Lights Out was too executed perfectly as piro only grab 2 masks and most of the level is pitch black.... question trial and error or did you tweak something.
Also there will not be anyone encoding from Sunset Vista to Cortex as it's best for pirohiko to upload the final video on his channel as it's nearing to an end and it will take a great amount of time to complete these final levels.
Anyways as a reminder what has happened here are the first 4 parts.
Pirohiko I wish you luck and destruction for the ending of this, I'm interested on what you are going to do with Brio and Cortex.
And for those wondering so far it's
Time: 31:18 (Compared to ~39:52 at the same point)
Rerecords: 167802

Because it becomes the message loss to get the mask of the Japanese edition, I minimize it.
This level can carry over only one piece of mask, but does corner boost there because there is not a message in the box of the second mask.
Because there was a light timer address in 0x910FC, I added it when I was necessary.
Is the wall jumping thing in Sunset Vista (the first one) really faster than the "normal way" ?
It seems the reason must be something like "in all cases you will need to wait at the two last walls so you setup a speed boost to be faster once the walls aren't on your way", but I am not sure about it.
The pushed wall of the right-side end refuses an invasion from the outside.
In addition, the wall over there has a frame rule, and the initial state is closed by all means.
That is why it is fast to keep high-speed inertia than it waits in front of a wall.
In addition, it is blocked by the frame rule of the rotary lift even if it became earlier.

So another 2 levels done... firstly that's almost 2 times bigger your re-record count compared to Mukki's.
Jaws of Darkness is nicely broken with that double jump glitch.
Camera Glitch <3
I noticed you paused for a bit to recover spin, so really not much could be done, if someone tried to perfect it they will get themselves into the same problem.
Castle Machinery
Lives collected 3, also thank you for right curving instead of going all the way to the right just to jump on the podium (The ace in the hole).
Green Gem FTW (and the LOLs)!
Question can you Double Jump that hole?
So now Brio is next then The Labs, the shortest level ever for any% and Cortex.
I hope you break Brio and Cortex.
Time: 0:33:11 (Compared to ~0:42:15 at the same point)
Also pointing out Marcusboy95 has gotten a time of 0:39:35 on the NTSC-U version.
Executed well but not at complete potential.

If the hole in question is the one between the starting platform and the exit portal, they put an invisible wall there. If not you could just do a zig-zagged normal jump to cross the gap.

Right~ I keep forgetting that there is a hidden wall there in both dimensions... unless you are above or below it.

Pirohiko you have done amazing work on this project of yours... I'll avoid mentioning the last 4 updates.
Anyways...
Question:
Now you don't have to answer this one because it's well practically finished.
Will you be adding extra input at the end to show off the final glitch,
or are you just going to have it as a final spin?
Anyways this was amazing to watch.
