<Dacicus> Who discovered that?
<Spikestuff_> The poor soul you're talking to.
<Spikestuff_> (Also if 60fps, then it's not 4k)
<Dacicus> Do you mean the YT encodes, or all of them?
<Spikestuff_> Yes
<Spikestuff_> Let's see---
<Spikestuff_> feos: do it.
<Spikestuff_> Give that bike boy up.
<feos> give him up? you mean let him down?
    * fsvgm777 launches feos to Pluto.
<Dacicus> The bike boy that delivers newspapers?
<Mothrayas> did you just turn him around and desert him?
    * fsvgm777 launches Mothrayas to Pluto as well.
<Dacicus> Is that how you say good-bye to people, fsvgm777, by launching them to Pluto?
<Mothrayas> Dacicus: it's his way of wishing us a happy new year
<KennyMan666> It's not even a real planet!
<Nach> Is it even real?
<DeHackEd> the sun isn't a planet, but people are launched to it all the time
<Mothrayas> we do that to wish them a happy new year too
<DeHackEd> see? it's all good!
<Nach> Are the good times over?
<Mothrayas> Nach: almost
<Nach> Who can I purchase more good times from?
<Mothrayas> the brothel?
<Nach> Sounds good
    * Nach heads over to Amazon
<Dacicus> Amazon has brothel services now?
<Nach> Dacicus: haven't you paid attention to the name?
<Nach> "Amazon"
<Dacicus> Hiding in plain sight the entire time

[Today at 4:43 PM] Colin (EZGames69): Reddit is the only place where it’s socially acceptable to like your own posts [Today at 4:43 PM] Colin (EZGames69): I judge anyone who likes their own tweets for example [Today at 4:44 PM] moozooh: i don't. some use likes as a favorites list [Today at 4:44 PM] moozooh: that's the easiest way to bookmark a tweet [Today at 4:44 PM] moozooh: but if they're doing it on all of their tweets, that's silly of course [Today at 4:46 PM] Colin (EZGames69):Yes that’s when i do it [Today at 4:51 PM] Mothrayas: I use like as, well, I like this tweet [Today at 4:51 PM] Mothrayas: although if you like your own tweets that's the online equivalent of sniffing your own farts and probably tells a lot about you as a person

Preventing coronavirus epidemic in russia: [3:54 AM] CoolHandMike: would a concentration camp type deal work? or maybe doing a large forced quarantine for a large city area? i think we in the US are doing both of those. [3:54 AM] moozooh: russia has pretty extensive history with concentration camps, lol [3:55 AM] Bloopiero: I don't think packing people together and putting them into forced labor is going to help, mike

<RetroEdit> I do have a question: have you had any success with using GDB to debug GCC stuff in VS? Or have you generally just rebuilt through the VS compiler? <zeromus> my recollection of any such experience would be entirely colored by the agony of it <zeromus> i have struggled through projects using visualgdb. it was much like riding a bike through a jungle. before then, i struggled through projects with other GDBs. that was more akin to swimming through a desert. sometimes i've debugged stuff with printfs on linux directly. that's about like walking over a thousand miles of broken glass. and ive never used gdb itself in linux; even having done all of the above, I don't think I have the constitution for that. <zeromus> a few times rather than use gdb for several minutes I have instead simply sat in a dark room for several days straight until I finally fully understood the problem, debugging it entirely in my head. <zeromus> and I can neither confirm nor deny that you now inhabit around the fortieth iteration of the universe, after I destroyed the timelines in which bugs were created in the first place, which I would otherwise have to debug in gdb

<adelikat> I need to be involved, I have the entire history of lua usage in my head, fortunately/unfortunately <adelikat> I can tell you what peopel are going to get tripped up on, or what's used by a bajillion scripts <adelikat> by entire history, I mean history that pre-dates bizhawk <adelikat> the first lua script in a rerecording emulator was snes9x1.43 in 2008 or so <adelikat> then gens-rr got it, then fceux, which I worked a lot on <adelikat> some of the fceux scripts people wrote blew my mind, it was a proud moment to work on an api that lead to such amazing scripts I would have never imagined <adelikat> then someone asked how to hook lua up to some usb sex toys, and I quit being curious what scripts were used for <YoshiRulz> wow <YoshiRulz> Is that why everyone wants rumble support? <adelikat> not going to ask.
