Now once completed enter The Lost Ruins The Lost Ruins I'm sorry I'm very lost :3 < yes that is intended as a joke Tiger Temple, Coco Park, Papu's Pyramid, Dingo Canyon, PAPU PAPU Coco Park, Papu's Pyramid, Dingo Canyon, RAMPAGE RUINS, Tiger Temple Yet again once completed enter Glacier Park Glacier Park Blizzard Bluff, Dragon Mine, Polar Pass, Tiny Arena, KOMODO JOE ROCKY ROAD, Polar Pass, Tiny Arena (Get dem slowdowns on), Dragon Mines, Blizzard Bluff Citadel City N.Gin Labs, Cortex Castle, Hot Air Skyway, Oxide Station (gun, mouth, shoot) & PINSTRIPE. Ok so here is where things get complicated with cutscenes you have been teleported out right in front of Oxide's level so from Gem Stone Vally uturn go through  Lost Ruins - Glacier Park - Citadel City then enter again Citadel City Part 2 N.Gin Labs, Cortex Castle, Hot Air Skyway, NITRO COURT & Oxide Station (gun, mouth, shoot) You're almost done... Go back to Gem Stone Vally via this route Citadel City - Glacier Park - N.Sanity Beach - Glacier Park. By doing this you teleport in front of 2 more uncompleted levels Slide Colocium & Turbo Track Once completed go in the middle of The Lost Ruins and Oxide to this big door (which is still closed) enter it and go from either left to right or right to left DEPENDS ON POSITION!!! HOLY CRAP YOUR 99% done time to screw Oxide completely so go ahead and race that Green monster and you're complete. Ok so again I'll write what happens as this is a warning to encoders mainly there are three segments Oxide crying away saying something about losing to you and beating his lap-times (time boxes FOR THE WIN), then credits go up on a roll once that's done scrapbook should start playing after it this is Naughty Dog's way of saying thank you for clocking the Adventure Mode... (Like all the alternate ending in All of Naughty Dog's games) then once that's complete it goes to main menu so you can stop there. Tasers aim for bellow 2hours and 30minutesit's quite a simple task ok to try and beat to be honest I hope it's under 2hours For the RTAers who are reading this aim for a time bellow 4hours I'm writing 4hours for possible mistakes in a single-segment if it's a segmented run then aim under 3hours. If typos I blame my phone.

CTR TESTING U-NTSC NO TAS Now the reason this was non-tas was due to the fact that PSXjin still has glitches on both it's Graphics and it's savestates. Now if you have no issues with PSXjin and you watch this and say it was Shit/Crap I like to tell you that the amount of sprites you see on your screen take 3/4 away from it cause that is all I saw when I was testing also this time to make some people shut up I used my controller to drift and boost past 4 levels which I thought would have high graphic bugs.... now if you downloaded it please do an encoding I want to compare my one to yours (also when you see my video version the first level you actually see Dingodile I DIDN'T when I was playing but encoded you see him... DANGIT) EDIT: Like again if you can view it better upload it on youtube I want to see it too. -video removed- EDIT 2: HOLY MOLLY IM A MEMBER O_O just realised it now :D

wow my pc is being a pain in the butt.... I GOT PERFECT CONNECTION RIGHT INFRONT OF THE ROUTER........ and it still says 60 minutes Edit: WOO 100 Posts now I'm an active member and I still have the same issues with my laptop... might get an ASUS next

Sucks to see just how bad the graphics are emulated with this game... I don't have a solution, all I can do is hope for one.

Actually, you're an Active Member now because you just made your 100th post (right after the post I'm quoting from). I played back the movie in PSXjin and I got the same result as you did. I only watched the first race on the emulator, but it looked very similar to your encode's first race, with Dingodile, the 1 in "1st", and the purple mushroom things near the finish line disappearing and reappearing constantly. So you say you think it's a graphics card-dependent emulation glitch? That's pretty interesting. I wonder if someone with a certain graphics card (like Shadowdevil2009) could TAS this game without a problem.

Well the encoding was better than the Original I couldn't see much only the wheels and the mushrooms so I took safe routes and quite visible when your at Tiny Temple where in the world is the massive door preventing you access that was possibly the biggest bug. I'm thinking of doing the tas under pcsx-rr

That's a good idea. There is probably a graphics plugin in PSXjin that emulates this game's graphics correctly.

OH CRUD I FORGOT ABOUT Luca's Technique so in that case times have been updated due to this technique... if you check (GOD I HATE THIS SITE BUT IT'S WORTH IT) and those times you must hit and beat this is without the AI aswell and they use diffrent characters... but we are using TINY

As being a former CTR speedrunner, occasionally holding some world records, I can help you with your TAS or even join the project. I am not experienced at PSX TAS'ing, but I know a bunch of improvements you can make. As you may have seen in the latest posts, PSXJin still has graphic glitches with this game, but feel free to try to TAS this game, either the adventure mode or some time trials.

Polar Pass Lap 35.22 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Jx8U4b9ahQ Using the NTSC-J version. Cortex Castle Lap 38.25 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FE_xSjT8hZQ Author initially pretended it was tooless. Hot Air Skyway Lap 22.96 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IzTO0cjMq34 Starts the lap with ultimate sacred fire (nearly impossible to turn well for humans). Then, performs a shortcut that can't be done without USF. The rest is just like the WR. Oxide Station Lap 36.85 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jc5TvC1ANXc Didn't break the WR, but it would with the PAL version and the shortcuts done by speedrunners.

So, aside from the video being full of useful tricks... did anyone else really enjoy the music? Sorry to be off topic there, but I was listening to the music more than I was watching the video. Those shortcuts look like they'll definitely be of use, if they're not already being put to use. Some of those extra boosts, too.

Part 2: -video removed- Anyways I noticed the person was using the Collector's Edition version. The CE version cannot skip the masks and I don't know about the glitches themselves if they can be replicated on normal version.

But I discovered, so far, the pattern for Time Trial. ==== Some adresses are absolute, like the character, track, etc. You can play as Nitrous Oxide if you force the character adress to be 15, but he will get the properties of the previous kart.

'You can play as Nitrous Oxide if you force the character adress to be 15, but he will get the properties of the previous kart.' I think that means you found the address for how your character is depicted in game, not what your character actually is (or maybe it's more complicated than that)

Probably, as there're "replies" of some adresses. I will check this later... For numbers higher than 15, the kart will be glitched.
