For some reason, the forum just doesn't let me log in. It keeps asking to input my ID and password again even though I certainly typed it correctly, and even if it succeeds, it automatically logs out of ifself after 15 seconds or so. I initially thought this was temporary network issue on my own, but it has been like this for whole past week. I tried this on other places, and the same problem happens, too. I can't recognize the new posts or check my message box because of this. I can't even submit the post here because it's gonna log out again before I finish typing, so I have to write this somewhere first, and quickly copy 'n paste here before it logs out again. What's with this?

Make sure that you are storing cookies with your browser, Odongdong. Besides that, I am not sure what could be causing your issue. (But someone else might have ideas.)

I just did that again, but it's the same. I'm trying this in entirely different computer, even.

Can't reproduce. Does this still happen when you're using a stock browser with no plugins behind no proxy? Any login/session troubles with other sites?

This is getting strange. I disabled all the plugins/add-ons as you recommended and failed. I tried other web browsers like Firefox/Chrome but still failed. I can use any other site just fine (Gmail, Yahoo, Steam, etc.), but not here. And then, when I turned on the proxy I downloaded from Chrome store (supposedly using UK server), suddenly everything became okay. And when I shut the add-on off, the site kicked me out again. So my guess is, this forum is somehow blocking access from my server, possibly the whole region here. At least I found the way to circumvent it thanks to you.

Yeah, I'm getting a similar issue but it's on mobile. I connect to my account... and auto signout as soon as it switches pages.

I haven't received a response about this, why hasn't the TASVideos twitter feed been updating?

It isn't technically a bug, but the "Your submission is complete" message bar stuck to the submission page looks too broad/tall.
<klmz> it reminds me of that people used to keep quoting adelikat's IRC statements in the old good days <adelikat> no doubt <adelikat> klmz, they still do

The item is no longer in my library. Don't know what happened. I got no notice of this. Writing a mail is all I can do. Recreating the item will probably get it deleted again as I suspect this is some copyright issue maybe with the soundtrack or the game itself.

That's probably because a thread was deleted because it was from a duplicate submission by accident. Update: <SpikeyMuffin>ThunderAxe31: can you also mention that this is an old thing. <SpikeyMuffin>ThunderAxe31: and has been brought up a few times over the previous pages

1. At http://tasvideos.org/NewMovies.html, the 'More Publications' link doesn't show more - it's just the same URL. 2. While trying to logon to report this, I couldn't recover my username, so I had to sign up again with a slight variation of my email. 3. I searched for the url in bug #1 above, but the results were for 'tasvideos', ignoring most of what I searched for. Thanks!

This isn't really a bug but I dunno where else to put this. The Intellivision is not listed in the list of movies by platform, I guess someone forgot to add it on the list.

I logged in, went back to the page before I logged in, my login status doesn't reflect on said page right away.

Sounds like browser cache. Did you try Ctrl+F5 to refresh the page without cache? Because if that works then it's probably not a Site Bug.
Warning: Might glitch to credits I will finish this ACE soon as possible (or will I?)

When downloading an Unix shell script from tasvideos which was created with the code tag and a .sh extension (eg code=shell.sh, once downloaded, the shell script is unusable because it uses Windows newlines (\r\n). Example below: Download test.sh
Language: shell

echo "TASVideos rocks!"
The blank line is on purpose. Output:
$ ./test.sh
./test.sh: line 1: $'\r': command not found
TASVideos rocks!
$
Using hexdump -c on the file we get:
0000000 \r \n e c h o " T A S V i d e o
0000010 s r o c k s ! " \r \n
As mentioned in IRC you can do tr -d "\r" on the file to remove the carriage returns but this is not really the best solution.

When trying to download a file from a code tag via an user's profile, the file will get truncated to whatever the post preview shows. Example: go on my profile, and try to download the script in this post; Download test.sh

Indeed. You should use dos2unix instead.

This is intentional.

This isn't really a bug, but a small oversight. In the movie list, the 2004 movies list is still present, even though there is no current movies from that year since all of them are obsoleted. Since it's now pointless putting it there I suppose it's OK to remove it from the movie list page.

[3567] SNES Porky Pig's Haunted Holiday "demo glitch" by Challenger in 09:43.01 [3564] SNES Pink Panther in Pink Goes to Hollywood by wesen in 09:35.79 [3563] SMS Master of Darkness by zoboner in 17:52.31 I found something odd. All these (might be more, didn't thoroughly check) have compressed JPG screenshot instead of PNG. Is this normal?

That page linked now says "<<<Bad>>>" instead for me.
