Duck Amuck mini game collection only released on the Nintendo DS. There are many different games you can play by interacting with Daffy Duck in different ways. These increase the thermometer. When at full, you he game ends. By slicing Daffy Duck in half, you start a mini game where you have to clear all the Daffy ducks on screen. This is done by slicing him in half, which creates two smaller copies. This continues until each copy is small enough that it is eliminated. However, this is all irrelevant. By frame perfectly slicing right before they load in, you end the stage immediately, making this the fastest mini game. After each 5 stages, 2 cutscenes play out. One can be skipped once the screen is fully widened, and as for the other you have to wait until after the thermometer goes off screen and slice him. Once you've done this cycle 7 times, he gets angry enough and the credits roll. There's a lot more to this game than just this minigame, but it terms of reaching the credits, this is the way to go.
Thank you, and God bless.

nymx: Claiming for judging.
nymx: I find it amazing that you clear each round so fast that you really don't get to see anything . Talking about a TAS being so fast that the entertainment goes away. LOL Well, we are all about speed and you certainly destroy this over the WR that I watched. Good job on this!
Accepting.

Oh man, I remember playing debug builds of this game while it was in QA at Babel Media. Good times. I would like to point out that unlike the submission notes currently states, there are many other minigames that increase the thermometer to reach the credits than just slicing Daffy. I don't know if that particular one is the fastest or not, but it's definitely not the only way.

In all honesty, I'd rather see a run that shows off all the minigames/content in the game rather than a very repetitive and confusing "any%" run. Besides all the different gags that can be unlocked, there's also a bunch of character coins to collect. I think an "all gags and coins" run would be a much better idea for this game than an "any%" one (assuming it's possible on the emulator given that closing the DS and using the microphone would be required for it.)

Yes, standard runs are needed and very appreciated here too

Definitely a good point, something like that would probably be more entertaining. Still though, I don’t think that means this one has no reason to exist as well. In my opinion, every game deserves a TAS demonstration of at least an Any% run.

An “all gags/coins” run may qualify as a “full completion” type run, but an any % runs is valid even if if it’s repetitive or confusing. That said, I’m not sure if more than this particular mini game needs done for this game to be considered enough for any %.

Well I think it does because it reaches the credits to the game, which any mini game can do. This one is just the fastest.

The game cycles through a couple of different minigames at a time. Usually if you wait around long enough a new minigame will become playable just from complete RNG, but I’m not sure if there’s a way to manipulate which ones you get. The slicing minigame is by far the quickest one to get in the game.
