Assignment: Ada, also known as Ada the Spy in some Japan, is a non-canon minigame featured in Resident Evil 4 unlocked after completing the game.
The minigame's plot involves Ada collecting a number of plaga samples as ordered by Albert Wesker (as opposed to collecting the single control plaga sample like in the main game). Ada does so and then reports back to Wesker that the mission was completed. She also states that Krauser was killed despite the implication that he had actually survived.
Although the plot is non-canon, it is interesting to note the ending scene has one of the biggest allusions to Resident Evil 5 in that Albert Wesker talks about "Significant changes in our world".
The game begins at the beginning of the island at Wharf A and ends at the Communications tower. The item layout on the map has been reworked for the minigame and pesetas and treasures are not found or used at all. The player must find the five samples of the Las Plagas parasite which are marked on the player's map. The only enemies featured are Ganado militia, Gatling Men (aka J.J), and Jack Krauser as the "boss" in the final area the player must defeat to get the last Plaga Sample.
The minigame is relatively short and is meant to be completed in one play-through as there are no save points during it. Ada starts the game with 6 & 2/4 Bars of health and has a slightly faster movement speed than Leon. The Plaga Samples Ada must collect take up space in the inventory instead of the Keys & Treasures menu.
There isn't much to say about this run since no glitches are found for Assignment Ada. The 5-1 Island Skip (https://youtu.be/HTDfYbxgUoQ) doesn't work since Ada's climbing up animation is different.
I have to say this was the first time I ever did a TAS so there are things I messed up. Inventory navigation, picking up items or autofire in general. I really didn't know how to use autofire so I used frame-advance and tried pressing the button every two frames. Didn't go well honestly lol. But I'm not that disappointed for this being my first TAS. If there are any mistakes please let me know.

The movie must be technically sound
If you're aiming for speed, your submission must match or beat all known records. Check places such as YouTube, NicoVideo, and Speedrun.com for speedruns, as well as the Games section of the forums and our site Userfiles.
This run is several seconds slower than the 3 best human records for GameCube, most notably due to slower boss fights.
Hard to explain why the JJ fight is so much slower, but it's very apparent when you watch them side by side. And the Krauser you want to kill close to you so you don't have to walk back and forth to grab the sample. His running speed is much bigger than yours, so there's several seconds to save here too.
Overall execution and routing was fluctuating between slower and quicker than the human in different segments, so there's quite some potential here. But I haven't compared to all records for other systems, maybe there are some better strats a TAS could use.

The author list is tied to user accounts, changing the author to "psx" sets the author to a completely different user's account. You cannot use this to get the psx name sorry.

Did you try performing a different OOB, like shown here? 1:55 Did you try running ahead without hiding from the arrows? Some moments, like 3:56, 4:23, some inventory selections, 5:24, cutscene slow skip and other ones look slow to me. I don't know why you always do a step back before turning around. Killing the Gatling Man looks less optimized than killing Krauzer. It's like by that point you finally got familiar with the control. Some turns and camera angles look a little slow too. I got the feeling like you didn't have enough hands or keyboard input to do them better. Did you use TAS Input? Also, check "Aiming" paragraph in this submission, it might be useful to optimize turns. Reloading the sniper rifle can be improved if you take damage during the reloading animation. I don't remember if it works with CGI cutscenes, but you should try reloading it before fighting Krauzer to see if the cutscene fast-forwarded the animation. What memory card you use for the submission? Did you download it from somewhere or did you use the one that's verified from that submission ("Playing the .dtm file on Dolphin" paragraph)? In short, you first submission is good, but I found it not optimised. Please do an updated version. I don't think it will take long to redo it.

That OOB doesn't work with Ada, if it would she still can't walk up like Leon can. For 1:55 by hugging the right wall the archer will take a step to the left or miss the shot, otherwise the second arrow would hit me so you can't really walk right towards him. I'm really used to the Steam controls like autosprinting or the faster quick-turns (not the 180 spin) so some camera snaps would look slower in general. The J.J room is probably the hardest room, around 4:43 I have to manipulate the left Soldier to point at me so he won't run towards me before throwing the grenade. J.J's moves after sniping him is RNG, either he will take a step back, do a 90 degree turn, or doing a 180 turn (which is the slowest since you cannot see his head. Krauser was the biggest pain since Ada has no knife. And taking damage doesn't cancel the reload animation. Yes I used Ubercapitalist's memory card, my bad for not mentioning it. Overall yes I definitely have to redo this. I did this in one sitting (took me around 3-4 hours and I probably need to mess with the tools because I only used frame-advance and save-states (of course.

The JJ fight and the final fight (including picking the sample) are quite a bit slower in this run than in the video linked above, as well as in both GameCube human records. psxVEVO, did you use any existing record as a reference when making the run?
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

Yeah, I used this (https://youtu.be/j3j6OLxFC6g). Couldn't find a Gamecube run, but looking for one in speedrun.com would've been a good idea. Didn't think about that.
