This is a 1164 frame improvement to the previous submission by Jigwally.

Techniques

Jump boost: the speed of the playing character gets doubled for a frame, up to four times during a jump. The third boost could not happen if the playing character lands too soon, so if you need to land on a higher place, make sure to jump a bit higher.
Higher jump: jump from standing still in order to jump a bit higher.
Hurt jump: if you get hurt, you get a 1 frame window in which you can jump from standing on air, allowing to perform a double jump in some places.
the idea is to get as many of these boosts as possible, and it's best to do short hops when possible, this maximizes the boosts you can get.
the rest of the game is pretty standard stuff, find ways to reduce lag, especially in the autoscrolling minigames like the one where you wash dogs, when you wash a dog, you get one lag frame, so we don't wash any more dogs as soon as we wash enough to beat that level.
ThunderAxe31 stepped in to find more places to get extra frame boosts (and finding more lag frames to avoid), which in total saved about 181 frames. I felt this was enough to include him as a co-author.

feos: Although I personally hate fat kids this game's setting, I think this movie is okay to be published. And even though it's not just "run right to win" kinda game, and it involves jumping around and doing some basic movement optimization, I believe it's still a Vault-only game in general. Accepting

I liked the fast pace of this TAS, and I also enjoyed the messing around you did during the autoscrollers. Plus, just a cute little game in general. Because of this, I voted yes. Great job!

Man, I forgot how ugly Cabbage Patch kids were. LOL Nice fast movement, but I can't see the Pogo Stick. Kappa I especially like the 'playaround' during the waiting phases. You remind me of what I used to do in Super Metroid when I would set a Samus on a 30Hz display during iframes to make the pose stay in a specific animation. Yes vote.
I recently discovered that if you haven't reached a level of frustration with TASing any game, then you haven't done your due diligence. ---- SOYZA: Are you playing a game? NYMX: I'm not playing a game, I'm TASing. SOYZA: Oh...so its not a game...Its for real? ---- Anybody got a Quantum computer I can borrow for 20 minutes? Nevermind...eien's 64 core machine will do. :) ---- BOTing will be the end of all games. --NYMX

Does it make any difference which kid you play as?
Warning: When making decisions, I try to collect as much data as possible before actually deciding. I try to abstract away and see the principles behind real world events and people's opinions. I try to generalize them and turn into something clear and reusable. I hate depending on unpredictable and having to make lottery guesses. Any problem can be solved by systems thinking and acting.

No, the kids are just customizable for people to play the game as if they were the ones in the game.
