I saved about 30 frames here with a new strategy for grabbing the black key and manipulating the dragons a bit.
You can drop the key right when it goes off screen. This is an easy opportunity to maneuver to grab it again at a better angle beacues the key leaves the screen well before the player does, meaning you have a couple frames of free movement. It is quite a bit faster to do it this way then in the published run, where the author maneuvers all the away around the key before grabbing it.

Fog: Judging.
Fog: Nice improvements.
Accepting as an improvement to the previous publication.
feos: Atari, will you marry me?

Still waiting on the hardest difficulty honestly. Meh. Good shave though.

SOMEBODY GET THIS FREAKIN' DUCK AWAY FROM ME! Also waiting on the long-overdue Mode 3 TAS, though I'd settle for Mode 2. Plus a separate Magic Dot run. But better is better, and it's just over half a minute, so yes.
