http://www.youtube.com/Noxxa <dwangoAC> This is a TAS (...). Not suitable for all audiences. May cause undesirable side-effects. May contain emulator abuse. Emulator may be abusive. This product contains glitches known to the state of California to cause egg defects. <Masterjun> I'm just a guy arranging bits in a sequence which could potentially amuse other people looking at these bits <adelikat> In Oregon Trail, I sacrificed my own family to save time. In Star trek, I killed helpless comrades in escape pods to save time. Here, I kill my allies to save time. I think I need help.

I'm going to nominate the following TAS: [2962] PSX Umihara Kawase Shun by Samsara in 02:17.25

Am I allowed to reject my Umihara Kawase Shun run's nomination? Despite the run being 100% my input and having a couple original frame-saving strategies, I don't feel like it's enough of my run to warrant me winning an award for it, since all of the main routes and strats were adapted from a Japanese TASer's IL runs on the DS version of the game. If they had an account here, they would have received co-author credit at the time of submission, but as long as that run is fully attributed to me I wouldn't be comfortable at all if it won an award.

Don't worry, you will not feel uncomfortable because we have this nomination: [3037] PSX Warcraft II: The Dark Saga "Orc Expansion" by Flip in 1:09:41.93
I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes. Current projects: NES: Tetris "fastest 999999" (improvement, with r57shell) Genesis: Adventures of Batman & Robin (with Truncated); Pocahontas; Comix Zone (improvement); Mickey Mania (improvement); RoboCop versus The Terminator (improvement); Gargoyles (with feos)

My votes go to: [3037] PSX Warcraft II: The Dark Saga "Orc Expansion" by Flip in 1:09:41.93 - every year (for the past three years) we've got one of these, and they keep getting better every time. Once again, it's a great showcase of TAS concepts applied to strategy games, extensive micromanagement, manipulation, and plenty strategies that defy all sense of risk and defy common sense but always do pay off in the end. It's always a joy to watch. [3035] PSX Star Trek: Invasion by adelikat in 38:00.16 is a very unique and technical run, bringing true free-range 3D TASing to the platform. Combine it with a good amount of action and explosions, and we have another fine run.

I want all good TAS inside TASvideos, it's my motto. TAS i'm interested: Megaman series, specially the RPGs! Where is the mmbn1 all chips TAS we deserve? Where is the Command Mission TAS? i'm slowly moving away from TASing fighting games for speed, maybe it's time to start finding some entertainment value in TASing.

I voted for warcraft 2, I actually watched the whole thing, and that is probably the only TAS of that length I can say that about.
