In this thread, you get a chance to show your appreciation towards someone who has helped this site. I have always wanted to create a thread like this. Besides the the past and present new site managers, I would love to take this opportunity and thank from the bottom of my tas heart two very special individuals: Aktan and Skid. Aktan has been such a tremendous nice guy who has encoded so many fine runs into high quality. A lot of people brought slowly tasing features to Dolphin but I think Skid all in all really started the whole thing. I am forever grateful to him. Because now, you get to see every 10/10 games like Metroid Prime, Mario Galaxy, Sunshine, F-Zero and shitload of other incredible games getting tas treatment. I love you both very much and this site owes you a lot! Cheers fellas :) (maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea stickying this thread? :) Just a thought)

I have many people I'd like to thank. Bisqwit and Morimoto who got the ball rolling. Blip, Nitsuja, and other heroes for making things possible. And all of our players who put out one amazing TAS after another. Our amazing encoding team who put out high quality encodes at a fast pace. Pretty much everyone whose been an active member of this site in some shape or form deserves my appreciation. So thank you very much, even if all you do is edit pages on our wiki.

I'd like to add special thanks to Ilari, who made TASing DOS games a reality, which probably is the largest untapped market of great games to TAS. For making several great TASs. For in recent times employing many custom scripts for greatly enhancing our wiki and information all over.

Bisqwit, adelikat, and Nach: - For creating and maintaining a great site. Coders who maintain emulators: - These guys work so far behind the scenes that I probably don't even know of half of them. Players, Supporters/Fans, Encoders, etc. Specifically, Fractalfusion: - For the immense amount of work he has done editing pages on the site. Nitrodon: - For (probably unknowingly) teaching me a lot about game code and lua scripting while we worked on the 7th Saga run.

Let's see... Bloobiebla, for making the best TASes in the world and being one of the best friends ever. AKA/Mitjitsu, for letting me coauthor my first proper TAS with him and teaching me lots of things that made me awesome at TASing. Robert Z, for starting TASing with me back in summer 2006, since we basically learned it together (which was a lot of fun and I can't imagine learning it alone to be better). Tompa, for constantly looking over my progress in the GB Zelda games and always wanting to help me out and help me improve my WIPs and motivate me. I also like Nach a lot because he's really nice to me and said my LADX run was his favourite and that made me feel awesome.

AngerFist, for allowing me to join the Mega Man X6 TASing team, even though I sucked at TASing back then. Also for being awesome overall. Atma, for kicking my ass at X6 back when I sucked at TASing, repeatedly until I didn't suck as much anymore. Nach, for being a badass evil overlord. Rolanmen1, for being an awesome teammate to TAS with. Mega Man ZX would never be done nearly as quickly without him. Everyone who commented on my WIPs, for showing me that they care about my works, motivating me to continue on my projects. Bisqwit, for founding the site All other TASVideos staff, including the judges and publishers, for keeping the site running All TASers who get their movies published, for keeping the site running Everyone else on the site, for forming an awesome community. Many thanks to all of you.
http://www.youtube.com/Noxxa <dwangoAC> This is a TAS (...). Not suitable for all audiences. May cause undesirable side-effects. May contain emulator abuse. Emulator may be abusive. The Dolphin team for making Gamecube TASing possible. Nitsuja & co. for working on making Windows TASing possible. Our crack team of encoders for making it so I don't have to fuss with getting bittorrent through my campus ISP's filter. Every published TASer on this site for having far more patience than me. Bisqwit, Adelikat, and all the current admins/judges for helping make/maintain this site. And Nach for providing my excellent sig quote.

Let's see. My order should be considered variable; and don't feel excluded if I don't mention you. I appreciate everyone in this community. * Ilari: for indoctrinating me into the world of encoding and helping me along the way. In addition, for his phenomenal DOS TAS of SkyRoads. * Flygon: for his help with some of my first encodes. * BrandonE: for furthering my interest in encoding, and finally getting me off my lazy ass to create Pyncoder. * Quibus & scrimpy: For introducing me to OpenMSX and the world of possibilities therein. * Nach: For being the first person to talk to me on IRC, and yelling "FERRETFAUCET!!!" * nitrogenesis: For being awesome in general. * Grunt: For his humor and sarcasm. * marcolaranja: For accepting my tutelage and in the process helping me flesh out my own workflow during encoding. * theenglishman: For his Prince of Persia run, still my favorite run on the site. I'll edit this list as I see fit.

The most of my appreciation goes to adelikat and zeromus. Without them, I would have neither the know-how nor confidence to help improve the emulators on this site. Additionally, without zeromus's continued support in my efforts towards PSXjin, the Final Fantasy 8 TAS wouldn't be possible. He vehemently hates that emulator, yet puts the hate aside and continues to help me make it better. I hope that the knowledge they've taught me will be put to good use in the future, towards better emulator/TAS tools and new TASing platforms.
Sage advice from a friend of Jim: So put your tinfoil hat back in the closet, open your eyes to the truth, and realize that the government is in fact causing austismal cancer with it's 9/11 fluoride vaccinations of your water supply.
