Dang...4066 frames! Roughly a 13.7% cut from your original. I am currently redoing an earlier TAS of mine and having fun seeing how much I can cut it down to. I actually find it more interesting to try and cut time from an existing publication...so I can imagine this was an exciting outcome for you. I'm with EZ also...this kind of improvement showed a decent percentage cut. The re-record count is also an indicator that you buckled down and started digging into it. Congratulations and yes vote!

This is a game I played a lot, in the 80's...mostly on Coleco. Even today, my wife and I still love playing this. I had to think about this a bit, but I can't really see any optimization problems here. One thing that I thought was an issue was not waiting for some of the enemies to allow the burger parts to fall more than one floor. After I thought about it, the technique would probably have put those enemies right in your path...preventing you from continuing quickly, once they got unstuck from the food that they fell with. This brings back memories and seems to be done well. Yes vote! :)

TurboGraphix is not a system that I know anything about, but it does surprise me. I almost thought this was a SNES game. Anyway... I think this is a good run. It certainly avoids the RTA catastrophes, such as avoiding the rear approaching enemies (early in the game), without slowing down. Damage boosting was used creatively, especially at 1:52 where the d-boost was used to keep from waiting on a platform to continue your trek upwards. Boss fights were quick and to the point. The only parts that I wonder about are the treks through water for some areas. I know the barrage of enemies has to be played around with, but jumping does seem necessary to avoid the slow downs...which is done mostly. At 2:13, I don't see any jumping. Great effort, enjoyable to watch. Yes vote.

Another fine submission by DrD2k9. As usual, the improvement is enough for me to vote yes.

I'm with Taechuk on this. One thing that really stood out was allowing situations to occur that required "sliding" in a piece to the left or right. The fall time is a killer. From my experiences, there is always situations that can be forced with TASing to get around these kinds of time losses. With 1710 re-records, it clearly shows that you haven't put enough time into optimizing this. From what SpikeStuff analyzed, it does seem that you performed this TAS through a controller. Is that the case? If so, there is so much more that can be accomplished by altering inputs at the editor level. You may want to try that...I think you'll be very surprised at the results. I do welcome you to this community, but I'm sorry to be the one to voting no for entertainment.

This seems to be one of your favorite games to perfect. I appreciate the fact that you continue to figure it out and find more. If I've got this correct, 880 frames were cut over the previous version. Great job. As with most of my voting, the entertainment comes from the continued effort of cutting time. Yes vote.

Wow, this is very different from the SNES version. I had assumed the GBA was basically a portable SNES, but the visuals, sound, and music are way worse across the board here. That has nothing to do with the TAS itself, of course.

Hmmmm...I think this game would have been more exciting, if the music didn't stink. Anyway, game play looks good; however, I'm concerned with such a low re-record count. I don't see anything standing out for mistakes with routing, but in this case...the game's limited movement is understandable and optimization looks good. Eh...what the heck, I'll give you a yes vote...mainly because I never knew about this game and it interests me for a first time viewing.

I saw a run from AGDQ 2018 for "The Addams Family" and noticed that the TAS for the same category seems to go way beyond, what humans can do. If you compare this category with RTA runs, you will see that this TAS cuts down the time in half. There is so much happening at once during this movie that it is beyond human capabilities, and as a result it presents a very entertaining run. Wouldn't this be a good candidate for "Stars"? As always, I appreciate the effort that any TASer goes through to find more frames. I've noticed that your history of this game has shown a nice progression of cuts. Yes vote on continued findings.

I can't say that the cuts in this game make it more exciting, but I found the parts where the two players did rediculous things..sliding under or walking over the cows. You really should provide some details on how you accomplished this. Its nice to see this game improved...even a little. In fact.... You cleaned it up! "409" frames. Yes vote for nice improvement.

I think the problem that TASers have, like myself and DrD2k9, is that most users of this site haven't heard of these games. Because of that, you have no intimate knowledge of its game play. Since you and I both have this experience, TASing it was certainly of high interest to me. I'm glad that I finally did, because the "quarkyness" of this game was finally revealed to me and I finally understand its behavior after all this time. RIP, The Forbidden Forest. :)

This clone power up is really neat. You should just let him do all the fighting. :) Looks amazingly optimized and has a really good show of techniques and movement. Also, I like seeing the ability to quickly demolish bosses in any game. This does that well also. Yes vote.
