In what world would Trump tweet a hoax that he thought would make him fare worse in the election anyway. All the hoaxes he tweets are designed to do the exact opposite.

Russian's claiming to have developed a vaccine, which is odd due to the endless resources the UK and US have been pouring into it. By the sounds of it they haven't gone through the proper procedures you would need to go through to ascertain it's effectiveness.
So, there are tons of vaccines in development, in various phases of trials. Generally, they start with phase 1, which is maybe 10s of human trials, and then phase 2 is 100s, and phase 3 is 1000s, before they get to general approval. There are a handful of vaccines in phase 3 at the moment, but this was the first one to get "past" phase 3. I did some research on this (so termed Sputnik V for some reason), and for some reason the phase 1 and phase 2 trial data has not been released, and...it didn't get to phase 3. It just got rammed through to general approval. It's propaganda at best, and hideously dangerous at worst. Don't trust it.

This is ridiculously selfish. The point of quarantine is to prevent you from spreading it to others. Do you only care about your own health??

We're not even talking about politics at this point. We're talking about the politics of politics. It's too meta.

> "race baiting" yeah haha anyone who uses that term isn't worth discussing this with, since they have preconceived notions of what racial relations are that exclude actually listening to the oppressed races, and dismissing their grievances as political skulduggery. Demand all you want, I have better things to do with my time.

Standing up for human rights should never be political.
What the OP posted has nothing to do with human rights.
It's about Justice for black people, who are in fact, humans. So yeah it's human rights.
To claim there is wide scale human rights abuses against specifically black people in America is frankly absurd.
I'd love to know where you get your news because it seems like you have a pretty massive caldera in your knowledge of what's been going on with racial tensions in North America over the past *checks notes* 528 or so years.

Dang, if I knew you were going to be doing a hotfix I'd have asked to pull new master from mGBA, since there were some timing changes in the meantime.

You're probably better off using the PRUs directly if you're doing wired connections, though I forget what voltage they operate at (probably 3.3V)

It would also be a good idea to post the exact ratios instead of high precision values, e.g. GB/GBA isn't 59.727500569606, it's exactly 262144/4389, and DS is 16756991/280095. Notably, 60000/1001 is NTSC framerate (often shortened to 59.94 fps)

I tried working on this; I used to work at that company. I (mostly) made Gym Retro for this, but the results so far have been...mixed.

mGBA does support light sensor, I thought natt added bindings for that in BizHawk?

Are you talking about STAT IRQ blocking? That's a known thing that's fairly well understood these days. It's not well documented yet, but there are people who you can ask if you want more info. Specifically, most of them are on this Discord: https://discord.gg/gpBxq85 (there's an IRC bridge on EFnet too, but I'm not sure what the channel name is)

If you'll pardon me shilling my work you may also consider looking into Gym Retro, which is designed for this (though it's not directly compatible with BizHawk).

I suppose that's fair. I can't exactly say doing it to learn is a bad idea, otherwise I'd be being hypocritical about it and VBA.

I'm not sure why writing a new emulator is required to get the peripherals that mGBA already supports working in BizHawk. Wouldn't it make more sense to fix up the mGBA integration and hack on the already fairly mature mGBA?

In the next release of BizHawk, can we update the mGBA core to 0.6.2?
The version in the latest dev builds (and I think 2.2.2 stable?) is https://github.com/mgba-emu/mgba/commit/633449dfd4dcb9e70646cccf217cea3d4f The only commit that actually affects GBA emulation since then is 633449d and that commit has actually been reverted as of yesterday so 0.6.2 stable would actually introduce a single reversion and that's it.
Wow... all that work I did talking about that too. He reverted the single change that didn't make the audio sound like it was coming out of a tin can and made all the bass notes higher and...? I officially give up on that emulator then.
I reverted that change *on that branch only* because it was needed to fix part of another commit, which tons of people complained caused popping on Game Boy audio. That single commit is only needed because of the other commit, which was reverted at the same time. But by all means jump to conclusions about what any of this does.
