Moves like Guillotine aren't supposed to work on higher level Pokemon at all, but if every move can miss, mabey every move can hit. Inflicting confusion would turn their high attack against them. Leach seed, burn, and poison deal damage each round according to the target's hit points. Toxic damage doubles each round.

It's the main treasure for the water palace... but sequence breaking is good too.

By killing all the optional bosses, or does he have to buy the stores out too?

It reminds me of Actraiser 1 for more than one reason...
Maybe it's the life bars and text font?
Also the same sound effect when A gets hurt.

Man, after watching runs of games I loved and beat I always feel like I don't know how to play them after all. :)

Experiment, whenever you think it might affect something, or at least look cool.

I... think I have a good enough reason for this thread necromancy. That reason is Mario Tetris Biggame. The first movie is what got me. I guess that's one way to put the screens to good use. :P

:o) Err, back to kinda sorta on topic, next time anyone wants help, yet is at risk of being harrased, you could just PM a few experienced people your progress, or a link to an oft updated movie file. Just saying.

Was that ...a burn? ...which was burned? err... This is freakin' immature. Xebra, not everyone has the same knowledge you have, so if JXQ is bad, it's good to learn him some help. Got that JXQ? Got that Xebra? These forums are something Bisqwit made, and pays bandwidth for, so you can help each other out, not cuss. In bold. Cool off. Xebra, if you really hate this run so much, I think it's fair for you to ask for your name not to be associated with it. Before you say someone needs permision to use your strategies, did you get permission from Sonic Team to use this game to begin with? It is a bit concieted (imho) to get posessive of your own use of someone else's intellectual property. Um, not to drag this argument on. I should apologize if I sound pretentious. You shouldn't get personal about video game movies, of all things.

I believe we are allowed to cuss, as we aren't explicitly told not to. Besides, the mods participate in most conversations, they're nothing to worry about. Calm down, mega-boy! I like entertainment, but speed is a big factor in entertainment. Keeps the pace up. Shows the care to search the game deeply. Searching for speed means finding even the smallest glitch to eke the most efficiency from movements; makes the movie graceful. But the Gradius runs and Mario speedwalk are great even though they scroll at a set speed because they also have this care. Purespeed is a good way to train for the patience to find good bugs, I suppose.

I joined a sprite comic forum without having a nifty sprite avatar. Or hosting space. So, I have no sprite. Yep.

I'd watch a run that gets Mew fastest, but all 151 is boring enough to play.

In Sonic Mega Collection the explanation was that Knuckles clashed with some of the backgrounds in Sonic 1... but your reason sounds better than that.

I know the controller is so as not to scare off your mom. I wanna play Katamari Damacy using it. And... I wanna see my mom play it too. She hates computers because she spends all day working with them already.

Not to be rude BoMF and HSZZZ, but she seems to be having troubles of her own, and quitting makes sense if she wouldn't be able to put in the effort to get accepted anyways. And if you want it done so bad, you could do it yourselves.. I am the lazy hipocrite

ChuChu Rocket is fun to play, but the puzzle attack mode, as it only seems to have one solution per stage, would involve going to gamefaqs and figuring out the fastest way to place tiles with a cursor. And poor omniswarrior doesn't seem to realise that with emulators and playing the game one frame at a time, that it would be no accomplishment. And that is what this site focuses on, looking cool by playing in slow motion with retries. You didn't think anyone is actually that good of a player, did we? I mean, DAMN! Or you knew that and were going to submit a movie like I said.

Silly hopper. SMRPG was published after FF6. Therefore it is completely on topic, for being about a Mario game. :P

SMW for advanced might be interesting if you did a Luigi run; Luigi can jump higher, and can have Yoshi not eat as many enemies; for instance Yoshi can spit a pipe pyranna an enemy to kill it. I don't think it would be worth it until SMW runs become as near perfect as the ones for NES/FDS, it would be more of a novelty run, like Peach in SMB2. Klonoa might be interesting, since the levels are built for routes based on using enemies to get to hard to reach places. Blender Bros. is like Pokemon meets platformer, but it seems only a few of the catchables will be usefull in a time attack. Um, damn, I remember their being alot of querky 'lil platformers when the GBA was new. Spiro: Season of Ice was nice. Banjo Kazooie didn't suck much. Pinobee does suck much, but that might be ammended with save states, don't think it would look good, though. Perhaps better than the Micky Mouse games published, but not actually good.

Yeah, you even mentioned Sleepz in your comments. Um, I'd really like a discription and when you use all of the 1 or 2 frame saving tricks, though. It would make it easier to see how hard you've worked at it. Astheticaly, I like how you jump through enemies in 4-2, even though it's not a new trick. And you don't use wobbling much, but still, I'm glad for things that make it obvious it's not a console run.
