How do I modify this? By removing it?
When I was making it, and making sure that elements were working I just made a transparent version at the same resolution.
Only due to the fact that removing certain things actually made the title unplayable.

As one of the people who cannot actually run the verification movies for either 95/XP, because I get desyncs on them.
I'm against it, due to it's being just another level of inaccessibility that I'm personally having, so having a higher core just makes it more of a headache to me personally.

Loud game is loud. Amplify(0.25) is used in the temp encode below.
Input overshoots by a lot as pointed out by the author, should be a 12:10.54 (maybe sooner if a jump can hold momentum).

And I believe the site grabbed the framerate wrong as Hourglass reports it being 50fps.

The short answer is unfortunately no, as it would not have a movie file to replay back on our systems, instead only a video.
As Midnight Carnival is a PSP title however. You can either experiment with libretro PSP within BizHawk or with PPSSPP itself within Linux.
Both methods still wouldn't be acceptable to submit to the site, but both methods allowing you to learn and adjust to learning how to create a proper TAS.

Question.
Does the TAS still sync if:
High Contrast Cards were enabled
Screenshake was off
CRT effects were disabled?
Basically the "force these settings" to be done and then let the TAS do its thing after.
Only asking cause of a single complaint about CRT being enabled and was more or less thinking of a more "accessible" encode.

Ok... question. Or alternatively highlighting my terrible reading ability.
Would this method for what's produced mean that there's a way to make a more fluid/clearer, GB TAS?

What if we had articles, or a podcast or whatever showcasing community members' favorite tases of that week/month or whatever?
I think another method that can be used at least on TASVidoesChannel side is by using the posts/community tab to highlight some movies of the previous week in the new week.
Something like, let's pretend today's the 9th of March. It would look at the week of the 23rd February:
Here's the top three rated Publications between 23rd February - 1st March 2025:
NES Lunar Pool "no friction, minimum strikes" by eien86 in 1:33:39.68 : links to site
DS Pokémon: Black Version by CasualPokePlayer in 2:49:11.29 : links to site
GBA Mother 3 by xxezrabxxx & radixsmash in 5:02:33.66 : links to site
Want to get involved in what is showcased?
Come to TASVideos.org and register an account today.
At least in this way it would be automated.
And then probably for a monthly highlights it would do it on the week after the end of the month, to at least (on our side) make sure the ratings are settled.
So posted on 7/8th of March you can have something like:
Here's the top ten rated Publications for the month of February 2025:
Pretend that I actually have 10 Publications listed here.
That work out onto the top rated Publications for that month

Also validate if TASVideos.org can link out-- it most likely can't cause YouTube meaning it'll probably be the full https://TASVideos.org/ Memory wrote:
Why not have other sorts of content too?
Another thing that could probably be considered is highlighting one game, several ports.
Since people talk about "another port of Myst" for instance on YouTube whenever another Publication comes up (and a bit differently on Discord), we can have a little blurb about it.
Or personally the many ports of Prince of Persia (where it's actually different) and Another World (Out of This World) or even Donkey Kong (ports being different from one another as well) slowly racking up (actually more like "quickly").
This one might need more involvement with someone knowing the game or series to help out on information regarding differences.

Though, game setup might take much longer.
In fairness to circumvent that you can make a verification movie installing the game instead.
As for the TAS, I enjoyed being confused with all the out of bounds shenanigans for a title I've only played once. 👍

Hello TheOnlyOne and welcome to TASVideos.
For Mappy a single loop is actually completing 16 Rounds (Levels), which the NES version completes (as a comparison).
Unfortunately meaning that this movie has another 11 stages to go through.
Best of luck completing Mappy.
Editing Updates.
So I was able to get around to watching the input.
Unfortunately this is very much RTA play being made, and compared to an actual RTA run that features an optimal Round 1 (route) the TAS is slower:

I also did a quick run on Round 1 to compare against yours.
You can check out that input here.
Quick encode of this TAS:

JD it literally says that it's a page that monitors this area, you're just re-suggesting things that's already been mentioned.
Elite Battle Agents is already mentioned, and it points to this post.
And same for Super Road Blaster which predates your suggestion.
