Game objectives
  • Uses hardest difficulty
  • Uses intentional deaths
  • Takes intentional damage
  • Best ending
Best Ending is described as getting all 3 keys to open the door and save your girlfriend. At this time for Arcade Version TAS.
Stage 1 Out of the 4 enemies the game gives you to possess, the girl is the fastest in walking speed, so we get her first.
Stage 2 As a ghost you can move through walls, But You cannot a Deposes because only the gameboy select-pad. so the girl has taken death. so, We later take over a bomb throwing enemy because he can do Average of damage.
Stage 3 Now opening in the wall at the beginning. where can jump through... there are a couple secret areas walls like what you'd see in Donkey kong.
Stage 4 For the boss we can keep firing while staying on the ground, the published tas actually jumps when the boss shoots goo at the player, however We later take over a Laser gun, which means we can keep giving damage to the boss and do a faster cycle fight.
Stage 5 Lots of rooms where the game can lag very easily. a few non-lag were in areas. For the boss we want to get him to be near the ground as much as possible so we can keep shooting at it. we sometimes take damage on the boss in order to stay in the ground fast and duck fire more shots.
Final Stage He taken to death from Snowball, so now switch to the girl here because she has a really fast climb. to get the last key, you need to step on platforms that spell the word "GHOST", it doesn't have to be in any order. the route that's taken is a tunnel with invisible walls all around, so if you're wondering why we dont just jump very early on, that's why. (In fact, we jump early on to show you the invisible ceiling) after we save our Girlfriend, we then possess her and use her body to defeat the final boss has been duck faster.

eien86: Claiming for judging.

eien86: I posted a few points that need to be addressed. Waiting for the author's response

In my Gameboy TAS for this game, I switch out from playing as the girl to the bomb thrower as it does more damage to the 1st boss in the game. Would that be the case for the Arcade version as well? That could be a potential time save.

Sync verified. Pay attention to the region: with USA's "avspirit.zip" the game desyncs at the beginning for Stage 1. ROM:

TASing is like making a film: only the best takes are shown in the final movie.

After analyzing your movie, I've got a few points: (1) It is possible to select the girl a few frames faster than it is done in the movie and still sync to the end. (2) It is also possible to select her SEVERAL frames faster but then the movie desyncs. (3) EZGames69 asked a reasonable question. So please: * Refine your movie such that point (1) is addressed properly. * Provide an explanation to (2). Specifically as to why her selection is delayed so much (e.g., RNG manipulation). * Answer the question in (3)

Right. I did take a look at the arcade controls and can confirm the only way to de-possess enemies is through death. The gameboy version allowed you to exit a body at any time.

You need to provide a full movie with this fix, not just the fix

I've asked you to upload the full fixed movie but I haven't heard back from you yet. Please do give signs of life or I'll have to assume this submission is abandoned
