  • Sorry if i copied a few inputs in other TASes ;-; (Reseren and andymac are Co-Authors)

Comments/Explanations

The goal in this run is to collect every 16 collectable CDs from the CD Chests (they are often well-hidden). We're going to start the explanation at Palm Tree Paradise because Hall of Hieroglyphs and Golden Passage doesn't have CD Chests.
Item Shuffle
So basically, Item Shuffle means that the chosen Game mode (Normal/Hard/S-Hard) affects various aspects of gameplay, such as the location of the jewel pieces, the position of the objects, the location of the CD Chests, the type and quantity of enemies, and the health the player begins upon entering the level.
Out-of-Bounds
If you used the Zip glitch (like in the other TASes), you can go out of bounds by zipping on a ceiling corner and keep zipping until you get to the very top of the map. The game thinks that you're on the ground and you might be stuck above forever if you're on an area/room if it has a top ceiling above.

The levels

Palm Tree Paradise
To get the first CD, we need to go to the 1st floor of the cave.
While being inside the cave, you will see a skeleton skull near the first 3 horizontal wood bars.
If you're standing on the bottom horizontal wood bar (which is the 3rd one below the 2nd one):
Run/Walk to the wall which will be a secret room inside.
What's inside will be a CD Chest containing a CD inside, which will be the 1st collected CD.

Wildflower Fields
After exiting the portal, you will see 2 Beezleys and a hole above and another one at the top-left,
what you need to do is get stung by one of the Beezleys and become Puffy Wario.
Then float upwards by holding B for a few frames and releasing the B button for a frame and repeat until you get to the top of the 2nd hole at the top-left.
After going up to the 2nd hole, still float upwards until you see the CD Chest.

Mystic Lake
After triggering the Frog Switch and going back to the previous areas, if
you're on the first area: Dash attack to smash the blue block on the left
which is beside the door to get the CD from the CD Chest... Or roll on
a slope on the 2nd area which is the one with a few enemies and
falling giant chestnuts.

Monsoon Jungle
After you enter the brown pipe below and exiting from the ground, zip on one of the brown blocks on
the left (in a big area with many enemies), and use the OoB Glitch.
Once you've touch the ground and the transitional hitbox at the same time:
Hold the A button while transitioning to the next area above at the perfect timing
to keep the jump while holding the A button then make your way to the right, where the CD Chest is.

The Curious Factory
No possible glitches so uhhh...
After collecting the Keyzer, you will go to a newly opened corridor which will have Totsumens below and get squashed
by one of the 2 Pistons below at the left to become Flat Wario. Drop down in the wheels room to get to the now-open passage
at the bottom-right corner (it will take a while) and drop down again to the bottom right hole. After going below the
hole, you will see a small gap on the right (also a small hole to prevent Normal Wario to crawl to the CD Chest).
Crawl as Flat Wario to the small vertical hole and enter the Decompressor to become Normal Wario and grab the CD on
the CD Chest beside the Decompressor.

The Toxic Landfill
At an area with a blue block and a Petbottom above:
Dash attack to the blue block and start destroying
those garbage on the right (the bottom one).
When you've destroyed 3 chunks, smash the
one below you and make your way to the left.
Where the CD Chest is waiting.

40 Below Fridge
After triggering the Frog switch, ladder up to the ground and make Wario touch a mound of snow to become Snowman Wario...
Or just Zip to the ceiling corner on the right for a faster way and go to the slope to make him roll to the 3 snowman
blocks ahead, and of course, falling to the bottom and completing the obstacles below. On the 2nd area above, i would ladder
up and dodge the Yeti's sneeze or becoming Frozen Wario when get hit (the corners cannot be Zipped due to ceiling positions).
After laddering up, you will go back to the first area with the portal and ladder up in the next area. After laddering
up again, crawl to the small gap and fall into the hole (if you're wondering how the brown block was destroyed, i destroyed
it after ground pounding to the blue block on the start of this level). After falling to the hole, zip to the brown block
above and hold Right then Left then B after holding Left in 1 frame (the reason why it has a really small delay is because
there is an icicle above, if you destroy the brown block too early, Wario will get hit and fall to the ground, doing the
obstacle below again), then press A at the perfect timing to prevent the wall from pushing Wario off, getting the CD from
the CD Chest.

Pinball Zone
While entering the Blue-Green
area after finishing the
previous room, go to the
top-left corner, which will be
a CD Chest.

Toy Block Tower
After falling in a room from the hole with 10 brown blocks on the left, push the Round red
rock fromthe right and grab the Triangle block, then throw the Triangle block to the Toy
Block door's triangle slot to open the door and grab the CD from the CD Chest
(Item Shuffle: The object "Triangle block" had a different position in different Game
modes).

The Big Board
In a room with 2 chance wheels and a few Mini Warios, i would break the block from the
right and zip on the 2nd block ceiling corner, then break the other blocks after zipping
and getting the CD from the CD Chest
(Item Shuffle: The room with 2 chance wheels and a GET! Wario (Flat Wario) sign, the
nearby CD Chest from Normal Mode is replaced with Top-left jewel piece in Hard Mode).

Doodle Woods
If you enter a room with a few big pencils and Deburīnas
above (dancing pigs) after triggering the Frog switch:
Keep going up until you find the CD Chest
(Item Shuffle: The Bottom-right jewel piece from Normal
Mode is replaced by a CD Chest in Hard mode).

Domino Row
At a room with a few spikes, you will see 2 rooms:
The first one including the CD Chest
and the second one including a pool of water and a few enemies below.
Hurry and step on the button to break the domino blocks and
enter the 1st room, which you can collect the CD from the CD Chest.

Crescent Moon Village
(Obviously in other TASes)
If you're on a large area with many blocks ahead and a pink bridge, fall onto the ground
below and break the blue block and 9 brown blocks to get to the CD Chest
(Item Shuffle: The Bottom-right jewel piece from Normal Mode is replaced by a CD Chest in
Hard mode).

Arabian Night
In the Blue pipe inside of a room at the start of the level, there would be a CD Chest below the
green blocks but the small gap on the right has a mini brown block on its exit so its not possible
to get the CD Chest, what you could do is zip on the ceiling corner and ladder down, then get the
CD Chest but it wastes some time. I decided to do it after grabbing the final jewel piece after
triggering the Frog switch. While you're on top of the water and a ceiling corner is above, jump and
zip to the ceiling corner then grab the CD from the CD Chest.

Fiery Cavern
In an area with a few horizontal purple bars with a
few Yetis, go to the right after zipping on a corner
ceiling below and do not go up. Still make your way to
the right and dodge the icicles above and the Yeti's sneeze.
Which will be the CD Chest after dodging those.

Hotel Horror
To get the final CD, go at Room 203, then go to the other side of
the wall then get hit by the Skeleton Bird's green goo (which is the 3
flying green ones). After becoming Zombie Wario, hit the thin floor and
fall to the blue bright light, which includes the CD Chest below (it also
includes a keyzer in S-Hard mode only).

Final words

And that's all of the TAS i did after 2 months of work (i hope it doesn't desync lol), enjoy the run!

Suggested screenshot

Probably like:
  • Wario zipping through a corner ceiling after grabbing a CD (like in Palm Tree Paradise, 40 Below Fridge, Arabian Night, or Fiery Cavern)
  • In The Big Board: Where a glitched sprite appear after zipping.

arkiandruski: Claiming for judging.
arkiandruski: Looks good. Accepting to Alternative.
fsvgm777: Processing.

Are parts of this copy pasted from my other tas's? The movement at the beginning of Aerodent I do just for entertainment and doesn't save any time at all, but this TAS has nearly the same movement with some parts changed slightly. Here's a side-by-side comparison: https://viewsync.net/watch?v=_Phk4N1u9so&t=1417&v=H9bA_CJdXBA&t=1737&mode=solo

What percentage is your own work (frame-by-frame segments created without copy pasting)? There are some parts that look fairly unoptimized but some that look too optimized.

I think that extends the question to "What sections of this TAS uses andymac's TAS?" as well. Basically. Should both authors whose input were used be credited as authors on this movie? Transparency would be nice here.

Probably 75% (I tried to optimize the other copy-pasted inputs)

It would probably be better to list them as the co-authors to this TAS.

Other authors have contributed 25% which is 10 minutes (approximately) of this TAS which is actually significant, so it would be fair to add them as co-authors of this TAS.
