The UMK3 have a secret mode called "Tournament". What allow one round 8 vs 8 with end/finish..So, In this mode also allow that you get a fighter secret random ( Sheeva ) where in this game she appear "invisible/glitched" causing a big effect to the fight and fighters xD..
  • Emulator used: snes9x-1.43 v17
  • Use timing WIP1
  • Allow left + right / up+down
  • Fake Mute desync workaround
  • Sync sound samples witth CPU
  • clean fastrom setting

  • Rom: Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (U).smc

  • Match
  • 2player
  • Random selection to both players
  • Secret Fighter: Sheeva
  • Fight between:
    • 1p: Kung Lao, LiuKang, 2 Sub-zero,kano,Mileena and 2 Kabal
    • 2p: Sonia, Kung Lao,Sub-zaro ,"Sheeva", nightwolf, LiuKang,"Sheeva" and Kung Lao
  • Glitches
  • Infinity/juggles combos
  • Finish(fail)
  • funny moves
Finishe: Fatality and Brutality Fail: All started by blocking of the projectile of Kabal, that stay "invisible"
Fatality Fail: When do the fatality, the animation do the motion and collid with the projectile and happens the fail .. Brutality: the game understands that the opponent is getting the fatality .. so the opponent is "trans-passable ... The brutality of Kung Lao generates a large shift in the position of the opponent, so, I pushed him to the corner, since it is "trans-passable" and this caused a break in the brutality .. occurring error = P
Sheeva: Only can be selectable in tournament mode and also can stop the game easily, with "any" movement of her (or reaction of the opponent about her), brings a crazy reaction in the scenary, in the opponents and can until to paralyze the game, not allowing any movement..sheeva isn't a Normal Fighter but a Gltich Fighter!
How that's a tournament ,I tried to show a Good movie with fun moves/glitchs and combos in that match.

Flygon: Replaced YouTube module with higher quality one.
Nach: Well, I don't think I understood half of what was going on in this movie. That's good enough for me. Accepting.
Flygon: Processing SD encode...

Few runs can get me to laugh like this one. When you broke the background and Kabal spammed projectiles against a spinning mess, I knew the game had gone to shit. Brill!

I don't fully agree with all of p4wn3r's arguments, but I think it raises an interesting question: If someone submitted yet a third run of this game, showing different bugs and coreography, would it be published alongside the other two? And if then someone submitted a fourth and a fifth run? Where do we draw the line? How many are too many?

No lines are drawn for the very specific reason that we don't know what this mythical non-existent 3rd, 4th, billionth run will contain, how similar it will be to the currently published runs, etc. This, once again, is why there are judges who watch the current published runs and determine if the content is sufficiently different to create a new branch for the movie. Until a 3rd movie exists, this is nothing more than mental masturbation.

I think we all already know that you hate my guts, and whenever I post anything even remotely related to site policy, you will respond to it with witty (and sometimes even outright insulting) comments. (I find it rather telling that when p4wn3r made his original post in this thread, it caused absolutely no reaction from you, but when I posted aknowledging one of his points, you immediately responded.) Just chill out, will you?

I think drawing these imaginary lines beforehand with no danger in sight smells of cowardice. There might be both bad and good things to gain from confronting the unexpected, and by drawing these lines we prevent either. I agree, it is very much a mental masturbation, because coming to a conclusion makes you feel like you're already in control of a potential future controversy, but by the time such decision becomes necessary both the circumstances and current conjecture might render it inapplicable, obsolete, or otherwise unwanted. I think, if a future tournament mode run is submitted it will most definitely compete with this one, just as a full game run will compete with a full game one.

My arguments were aimed at this submission in particular, not at unusual categories in general. Better stylistic choices may make a "Tournament mode" run up to the standard of the other published movie, I don't know... If you want my opinion on lots of categories, I am indeed against publishing a "new game+" run or other things like that just for the sake of "it's another mode of the game, has other things unlocked, blah blah blah" when the difference from the normal run or entertainment changes aren't big enough. Most of them are brought up every time someone attempts to pass a bad movie of a game that has already been TASed. Anyway, I'm actually surprised that I was the only one to raise such a point here. If my memory doesn't fail me, when the first "playaround" run of UMK3 was submitted, although most feedback was positive, some people questioned stylistic choices and were against it, others even thought there was no need to publish a run of every MK game and suggested other games of the series. Years later, we're publishing different categories of an MK game. It seems entertaining the audience is easier nowadays.
