  • Doesn't color a dinosaur

So, After MrWint disassembled the game, I took this and tried to see what the fewest frames to get 5.57 was. Turns out, the fewest frames to get 5.57 is 499. Omnigamer made a spreadsheet to simulate the times, (5.57 is fastest time, get out of here todd)

I'm too lazy to encode

Masterjun: Hello DatOneJoker and welcome to TASVideos. Here on the site we have movie rules. Important for this submission is the "The movie must be properly attributed" part. This run has the exact same input as the currently published movie, except for the last 4 frames which were trimmed. No own effort was made to make sure this even is the fastest way to attain the goal, as it's easily possible to cut off more frames for the same result (see the "A modicum of effort is required" rule).
This movie plagiarizes the currently published run.

Note that this movie, unlike MrWint and Omnigamer's previous movies, does not optimize for distance, which was one of the goals of their runs.
http://www.youtube.com/Noxxa <dwangoAC> This is a TAS (...). Not suitable for all audiences. May cause undesirable side-effects. May contain emulator abuse. Emulator may be abusive. This product contains glitches known to the state of California to cause egg defects. <Masterjun> I'm just a guy arranging bits in a sequence which could potentially amuse other people looking at these bits <adelikat> In Oregon Trail, I sacrificed my own family to save time. In Star trek, I killed helpless comrades in escape pods to save time. Here, I kill my allies to save time. I think I need help.

So a couple things: This movie is the same as the prior submission, simply with one input removed. Even if that's all that you needed, if your new goal was to optimize for real time, you could have chopped all the inputs after frame 476 and still achieved a 5.57. Even so, this is very likely not an appropriate starting seed to optimize for real time. There are up to 14 frames to save just from starting the race on an earlier seed. In any case, I don't think that real-time IGT optimization is an interesting goal for this game, relative to the other existing goals.

A video encode to view the run would be greatly appreciated.

When it's a shitpost submission. No. You've already seen the reasons already mentioned by others on why that's a dumb thing to ask for now.
