Doing the any% run, ... I just have to, I was playing around, and discovered that my route is currently 3847 frames faster, I'm more than 1 minute ahead!! +D Posting WIP now: Watch it. EDIT: Thanks! +D

I finally got a chance to check this out. That's looking really good! It seems really obvious now to use the route by the training ground; nice find. The moth boss fight also looks good (I feel like a good screenshot would come from the screen where you get its scroll). Just a couple questions: why do you pause at the first boulder in the cave instead of taking damage? And why do you kill the ground snake in the waterfall area instead of landing on it to damage boost?
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically. Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.) Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html) Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature! Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. I'm actually working on improving these parts.. XD but I think it's faster to avoid the boulder, his speed when taking damage is 24 frames of 3/4, and 4 frames of 0 speed, plus all the time in mid-air, the 24 frames start counting when he lands.. (and it can be delayed by pressing 2 too! not really wanted result) xP Plus taking damage means more HP refilling after the larva, 2 frames each hit (but some enemies, like skeletons, count as 3 or 4 times .... it is unfortunate that I can't get a recover fruit before the larva fly...) x_x

This one should be watched with FM chip on, or else it desyncs badly on the end of level 1 Just a FM test, the run is almost done, but I really think it shouldn't use FM, it's laggy and lose frames on screen transitions =P

The FM chip sounds sort of strange. It's nice in parts, but if you think it's making the game laggier, I'd avoid using it. Better job with riding the snake at the waterfall. It's also clear that the helmet smash technique is saving you a lot of time with the final bosses. The first fight against the flying wizard seems sort of slow, though, compared to the 100% run. In both of those runs, you're primarily using the helmet smash, right?

Actually the one needed for the first final boss is the slasher, so I'm using helmet smasher like that to compensate, it's actually a lot faster than I thought it would be, since I can take two or three of them at the same time.. +D Well, polishing back to 'PSG' and then submitting, I guess, this is already faster than The Ninja ... a samurai faster than a ninja is something to be added to the submission text... xP EDIT: Just for docummentation, final WIP before submitting =P

Now both Kenseiden runs can be improved! I found an improvement on this stage: Link to video Now you can pass that snake without killing or taking damage.
