I have tried search over internet to find a game to play for a while. Most game out there didn't keep me motivated. The closest I have found was Dungeon Runners, I like it very much because of random generated dungeon, random generated item, much like Diablo, except the thing I wasn't able to continue playing it was most better equipments require membership to wear (which cost 5$ per month). Anyone have any idea what free or "one-time" pay RPG / MMORPG / random dungeon crawling game I should try? No ASCII game. No incomplete game (alpha, beta, lack of content, etc). No exp grinding (that has no other goal) game. No slow real-time turned base game (outwar, Kingdom of Loathing or similar). No "PvP focused" game, I prefer PvE / PvM. Game where PvP is optional is ok. A lot of content or randomized dungeon / items is a plus. List of games NOT to suggest: Owned game list Diablo 2 mods Dungeon Runners Flyff Solstice Tales of Pirate Xiah Space Cowboy Knight Online Ashen Empire Forlorn Online Runescape PristonTale Gunbound MapleStory Hostile Space Ogre Island Adventure Quest Arch Lord Silkroad Online Crossfire games that's higher than this computer spec: 1.6 ghz 895 MB of ram RADEON-9250 (256 MB of ram video card) I'm sure there's more that I have already tried but I can't remember the name of them. If you suggested something I have already tried before, I'll add to the list. I'm open to Morrowind mod / Warcraft 3 map suggestion. Make sure they're good and not buggy / crashy. I'm open to gaming system suggestion as well. (preferred choice: XBOX, GC, PS2, PS3, GBA, NDS)

Look into the "Mysterious Dungeon" series. There are multiple games for it on PSX, PS2, and DS. There's also Hellgate London, a new game by the makers of Diablo II, that is free to play both online adn offline, though a subscription fee unlocks bonus content (and you still have to pay $50 or whatever for the retail copy of the game). A friend of mine was beta testing it and he thinks it's pretty good, but I was turned off because when he showed it to me he was playing a ranged combat class, and ranged classes play like a FPS rather than like Diablo (though melee classes apparently play like Diablo, so).
someone is out there who will like you. take off your mask so they can find you faster. I support the new Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-kun.

There is this one PC game that I keep playing the demo of, but could never bother to get the actual game. It plays top down, like Diablo, and you can combo skills together. You can also start as an Angel or a Barbarian, to name a few classes. If you can find the name of that, I'd say it's worth a gander. Also, check out: Dungeon Siege Enclave Guild Wars (in all its millions of versions) e: Don't play Hellgate: London. It's very buggy, since it just barely came off of initial beta. It's also a lot more labor than people seem to think.

NetHack played on the Vulture's Eye. I could not make it replay runs though.

Izuna: Legend of the Unemployed Ninja for the DS I've only played it a little, I don't have a DS of my own. It's quite humourous and quite difficult. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Izuna:_Legend_of_the_Unemployed_Ninja

That sounds like Sacred to me. Pretty good game, though I much prefer Diablo II with its plethora of mod capabilities. I'm quite interested in the results of this thread too, though I prefer games in the 'pay no time' category.

Planescape: Torment is always worth a playthrough. The Persona series could be interesting as well. Persona 3 has random generated dungeons and all that stuff. Defiently worth getting.

Planetscape: Torment as Neophos or Baldur's Gate series (1&2 + expansions for both). They are quite alike, so if you like one, you'll definitely like the other too. Both are great free RPG games, with the D&D engine as base.

I liked Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, but with your computer specs it might not be very enjoyable to play. Has very high hardware requirements.

That's the one. Like I said, the game is fun to play with every once in a while. It seems in no way polished compared to Diablo 2, though.

Wow, thanks for suggestion. Kingdom of Loathing, I didn't like it at all because of "turns" runs out and you have to wait real-time to get more turns. I forgot to add this type of game to "not to suggest" list, thanks for reminding. NetHack counted as ASCII game I think, either way, it's a game where you have to push so many buttons to play it. Press < to go down stair, press > to go up stair, press F to fire gun or fight, press I to open menu, press E to equip, U to use, D to drop, press number, etc... I really hated that type of game. Anyway, these are pretty good suggestion. I have noted most of them and going to look into more detail on them.

Bah.. the only online game that is worth a little is Gunz: The Duel. The rest is CRAP! MMORPGs are the worst nerd creation ever...

Gunz isn't RPG, I have already played it before and it's boring. Ah I remember something to add to "not to suggest" list.

Chunsoft is my favorite Roguelike game developer. Take a good look at its massive games list: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spike_Chunsoft Note that the famous Android game Pixel Dungeon looks inspired to some of these titles in my opinion.

If you own a DS, you owe it to yourself to play Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors. And do not get spoiled about it.

999 was a ton of fun for me. Not sure how the Vita/PS4/PC port in Zero Escape: The Nonary Games is.

I didn't want to create a new thread if one already existed, and this one was the closest imo.
