There's a Swedish forum where we usually have a VGMQ each month just for fun. I decided I could just as well post it here as well in case people are interested in joining in =). There are a total of 24 songs from various games. This time, I've chosen only tunes from Final Bosses. All guesses should be sent as a PM to me, one guess/song, only game name is required and there are no negative points for wrong gusses. You have until 23:59 October 19 (TASVideos time) to send your answer. Good luck! http://www.mediafire.com/file/r5yswrs7mc8zxd9/T%C3%A4vling.rar

Only got 4 of them, even if for some others, I'm sometimes pretty sure I've played the game but didn't manage to remember (the music style, "instruments", the overall feel, or maybe a leitmotiv in the track that I think I've heard somewhere, etc...). Sending a PM anyway, I like that kind of quizz ^^.

Time is up! Here are the answers: 1. Maui Mallard in Cold Shadow My first TAS on the site and a fun childhood game! Even though I kinda regret for trading A Link to the Past for this game and Super Return of the Jedi when I was young... 2. Gunstar Heroes I wanted to include a Genesis game on the list. This is one of the few games I've played for the system however. Great game, still! 3. Crash Bandicoot 3 - Warped Thanks to my aunt for introducing me to the Crash series! I've spent lots of hours on this game, even though I could never beat it as a kid (This has since then been fixed). 4. Super Smash Bros. Brawl I don't even have anything to say here. Subspace was too repetitive at times... And who is Tabuu anyway? 5. Secret of Mana Great game, great soundtrack, epic! 6. Resident Evil 4 I mostly picked this game because of a friend who loves it. But he wasn't even able to guess the right title :(. RE4 isn't really that recognizable for its music anyway, so it's understandable. 7. Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem The sanity system is a quite interesting one. I would have liked to see a sequel to it, though nothing released so far... 8. The Magical Quest Starring Mickey Mouse This was one of the first games I bought, together with my brother David. Has stated as a special place in my "collection" because of it <3. 9. Metroid II: Return of Samus I wanted to include a Metroid title in the list. As I just finished Another Metroid 2 Remake, this became the pick. 10. Spyro the Dragon 2 - Gateway to Glimmer Thanks to my aunt for introducing me to the Spyro series! I've spent lots of hours on this game, even though I could never beat it as a kid (This has since then not been fixed). 11. Bubble Bobble My birth/origin of "Save the Frames" and the beautiful aspect of Frame Whoring. 12. The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening Likely the #1 game I've played the most ever. Also the first game I ever did a speedrun of, back in 2003 or so. Great memories with this one. 13. Mega Man X4 My first true introduction to Mega Man games. I found the NES games to be too hard for me, but I do believe I finished this? Maybe? 14. Donkey Kong 64 After playing both Banjo Kazooie and Tooie before this, DK64 was a bit of a disappointment. Camera sucked and the jetpak was garbage. Still, it was fun. 15. Pokémon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum Probably the Pokémon game I spent the most time on and one of the best Champion theme's. 16. Rockin' Kats Only reason I know about this game is Dream Team Contest 4. So I clearly had to pick it. 17. DuckTales II The first DuckTales doesn't have a dedicated "Final Boss" song, so instead I picked the second game. I've always liked it more than the first anyway. 18. Super Mario RPG I didn't really like RPG's until I played this game. <3 Emulators so that people in Europe could play US games. 19. Final Fantasy IV *I also gave points for FFII*. Even though I played through the DS version, I picked the SNES version as I think it would be the most recognized and make the most sense. 20. Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow RIP Konami :'( 21. Pikmin Very odd tune for this game, main reason why it made the list! 22. Rayman 2 - The Great Escape My brother bought a Dreamcast with Rayman 2 (And a couple of other titles). I never really knew about the first Rayman game, but as I like platformers a lot, this was a must to play through. No regrets. 23. Super Bomberman 5 One of the few 5 player games for the Super Nintendo. Even though it was only released in Japan... Great fun with friends! 24. Dynamite Cop Another one of those Dreamcast games from my brother. We always laughed at the intro cutscene. I HAVE CHANGED MY BODY TO DESTROY YOU!!
