Well, since Samsara says we can no longer express our desire for 99 lives in the threads, I'm voting no. Great run. Terrible policy. I hope the votes will induce samsara to adopt a more sensible policy in permitting people to criticize runs.

I don't know how this game works, but in SMW, at least, getting 99 lives would be certainly slower, even if you don't have to slow down inside levels. That's because the game has to convert from hexadecimal to decimal your score, lives and coins every frame, and that causes lag if the digits are high (in the lives and coins counter, only the first digit maters). I don't think it is that 'entertaining' to see 99 as the number of lives, as the entertainment in a TAS can go much beyond that. Despite I do understand why there is this request of a run with 99 lives, this is not a significant change in the entertainment of a TAS, and thus, it doesn't worth to perform a speed/entertainment tradeoff just for the sake of that. Yes vote, by the way.

So redo the entire movie from scratch, Kurabupengin, and save those 27 frames yourself, then submit that as an improvement to this run. Speed/entertainment tradeoffs are part of this whole thing, but it does not justify losing thirty seconds for a tiny cosmetic detail.
I am still the wizard that did it. "On my business card, I am a corporate president. In my mind, I am a game developer. But in my heart, I am a gamer." -- Satoru Iwata <scrimpy> at least I now know where every map, energy and save room in this game is

I'm not willing to re-do the entire movie from scratch, it was just an observation, not a request or anything of the sort. Although if I'm allowed to edit the movie for those frames, I will, otherwise... no.

Such a silly comment by Samsara. He already had 100 percent approval. What. Is 100 percent approval not good enough? I mean really.

How about you stop being a jerk? Honestly, at this point you're just being petty.
effort on the first draft means less effort on any draft thereafter - some loser
