There is a graphical glitch where the colors get negative if you scroll quickly sometimes. I like it.
Nach: This movie passes the minimum criteria needed to distinguish it from realtime play. Also, frighteningly enough, there's speedruns of this game, and this run considerably beats any records I was able to find with a quick search. Accepting to vault.

TASing is like making a film: only the best takes are shown in the final movie.

That page wasn't updated when the Vault Tier was made, that's why it seems contradictory of what is done in the site now, so please ignore it until someone updates it.

I had no idea there were two Waldo games published for the NES (at least this one has a catchy title theme). Chalk another one for the Vault!

I agree. It would be great if that page were finally updated.

If this were done on the hardest difficulty, I'd say it's eligible for Vault. The rules about Bad Game Choices definitely need an update.
Good job trying to manipulate better positions for Waldo. It's just a shame that the manipulation doesn't really yield a more interesting / impressive outcome. To quote the judgment comments from the "Shining in the Darkness" TAS, the most interesting part of the run is what you're not seeing in the run.
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically.
Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.)
Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html)
Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature!
Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. From the submission comments:

Holy shit you have some good memory. That run is damn near 5 years old now. I didn't even remember that being said!
Sage advice from a friend of Jim: So put your tinfoil hat back in the closet, open your eyes to the truth, and realize that the government is in fact causing austismal cancer with it's 9/11 fluoride vaccinations of your water supply.

Thanks, I guess. I did see that quote more recently than 5 years ago though: I frequently sift through published movies via http://tasvideos.org/randomM.cgi to check out different stuff to rewatch. That movie came up a few times somewhat recently. Also, I guess the judging statement on that movie struck me as fairly well explained, so it stuck with me.
Then again, if there's an opening for "Published Movies Historian", let me know ;-)

Expert is slightly harder, Waldo and the scroll are halfway hidden behind things.
I know it may sound kinda pointless to use Expert given that with tools you can view the memory to know exactly where they are, but it's the thought that counts. :P
