Out of the six games I've TASed so far, I've had basically no desire to go back and play again. It's not a bitter feeling or anything, more like..."it's finished"; nothing left to do here. What say you, TASers? How are your experiences here?

I use TAS to help improve my gameplay all the time, so I guess I’m the opposite. Can’t really say for sure though as I’ve only TAS’d SM64DS fully and I never even played that game in the first place. Tenchu is a game I’d probably want to go for the RTA WR after TASing it, though.

I think I've played through Run Saber casually a couple times, but every time I play it I'm just reminded there's so much in the published run that can be improved. Otherwise, I can't say I've gone back to anything.

I love to play the crap out of Q Boy when I'm bored actually. Also Club Penguin and Epic Yarn too. Not the Platinum bootleg though.

No, I don't feel like playing Cheetahmen II, for obvious reasons. When I play Gex, I do admit that it is exclusively for glitchhunting. It's not a game that I had during my childhood.
Current project: Gex 3 any% Paused: Gex 64 any% There are no N64 emulators. Just SM64 emulators with hacky support for all the other games.

That is exacly what i hope to accomplish with the games i TAS or think of TASing,to never play them again,to have them done once and for all. There's nothing left after a perfect game.
I want all good TAS inside TASvideos, it's my motto. TAS i'm interested: Megaman series, specially the RPGs! Where is the mmbn1 all chips TAS we deserve? Where is the Command Mission TAS? i'm slowly moving away from TASing fighting games for speed, maybe it's time to start finding some entertainment value in TASing.

Depends on whether I was playing the game before I was TASing it. If I played it before, I will generally come back to it one day or another. There's only few games I returned to that I only ever played to TAS them.

Good question. Let's see. Out of my 30 currently published movies, I had played two games before tasing them (namely: Gods & Wonder Boy in Monster World). However, after tasing, no, none. I have not played any of those games before or after tasing. Depending on the type of the game, I might play it casually sometime during the making of the TAS, but even then my playing style might be too quirky to resemble any kind of casual playing. When I look at my publications, I think The Humans is the game I would play, if I had to choose one. The Humans combines action and puzzle elements very nicely. If there were DLC and harder challenges, I would definitely play the extra content.
