Get the New Super Mario Bros 5 at: [dead link removed]
This hack is based on Mario W-256.

Noxxa: Judging.
Noxxa: Hello Ambiance 69, and welcome to TASVideos. Unfortunately, I'm rejecting your submission. The movement slows down a lot unnecessarily (which could be avoided with more careful and frequent use of rerecording), which is not helped by the many time-wasting movements throughout the run, such as often repeatedly crouching while running.
In addition, this isn't a good hack choice, as the hack seems to offer nothing over the hacks that are published, such as Hard Relay Mario (in difficulty) and Extra Mario Bros. (in overall hack quality/extensiveness).
Better luck next time!

A lot of useless slowdowns, gets two fireworks in the first three levels... And the hack doesn't bring anything new compared to the hacks already published on the site. No vote.

Strange TAS! Lot's of improves can be done! The hack isn't difficult, much easier than Hard Relay! I vote No.
TASing is like making a film: only the best takes are shown in the final movie.

To be published, this hack would have to be better than Extra Mario Bros., but it's not as interesting and not nearly as well-designed. The movement could also be faster in a lot of places. Avoid hitting blocks, as that just slows you down, and save or waste a few frames to avoid getting fireworks at the end of the level.

To be honest, this looks more like a 'proof of concept' run, that should've been posted in the forums for feedback, rather than an optimized TAS ready for submission. Hacks are also held to a higher standard, further stressing the importance of obtaining feedback from the community before going any further. The low re-record count (87) is also an indicator of a hastily done project. Going to give this a no vote, Ambiance 69. Please understand that creating a publish-worthy TAS takes a sizable commitment; moreso than what was demonstrated here..

This would be interesting to me if he didn't come to full stops so often.

I think you may have missed a few of those fireball shots there.
