Say, upon witnessing the run, I'd noticed something. You seem to be actively avoiding picking up gems and all, presumably to save time during the percentage count and the message if you've unlocked a new minigame (at the end of each section). But, I wish to ask: Is it really costing more time to skip gems? There seems to be enough time to not postpone these parts longer and if you do, only by a bit. I believe avoiding gems actually ends up COSTING more time than it saves, so my suggestion is to test this out.

Okay, we restarted long time ago with Andzura. We finished the Fairy Council, and we have almost finished the Clearleaf Forest. Someone want encode of level 1 ? (I already encoded but kept it at unlisted for who want to watch it because mostly everything loses his surprises :p )

I'd like to see it. I really wonder if everything looks nicely optimized this time.

I found with PewableShift a new way to skip the boss of clearleaf forest. TAS Only due to his hardest conditions to compile. Link to video

Much, much better. Rayman actually moves straight now and there seem to be no unnecessary moves as far as I can see. I'm looking forward to the rest of the Fairy Council as well as Clearleaf Forest. Good luck!

Don't worry too much about the audio desynch, it was fine. Now, the run seemed pretty well optimized overall. Sometimes I felt movement wasn't in perfect straight lines, but it doesn't seem to deter from the quality of the run (also, 3D TASes are hard to make). If you can keep this up, this would surely be accepted.

Thanks, sadly we did find an improvement due to a new glitch: the superjumps on pigs who gives points :D Ultimategamer95 & Xhonoz did found this randomly but couldn't figure how. I did figure how it works and Andzura did found the spot. btw, this glitch is near from TAS only here encode of improvement: Link to video

I was not expecting to see the entire chapter beaten in less than 10 minutes. Kudos. That was pretty amazing. And, I asked this before but didn't get a straight answer, does avoiding the gems actually save you time? It seems to have no effect. And if there IS, it's a little bit. Presumably the few frames you might save overall are less than the time spent avoiding gems. Have you properly tested it out?

Thanks =) Sorry for not responding you =) Anwser is : YES. But only depends of the number of star. Getting 2 is slower than 1 but getting 11% than 10% while getting 1 star is same speed =)

We're almost at end of Land of The Livid Dead, Andzura is finishing the boss skip. Durign the time I was searching / planning glitches route on Knarrens, then found this. It'll skip most of part 1 of Knarrens: Link to video

with that, I think here will be a choice of a suggested screenshot!(Ignore the framecounter, it is a very rough TAS I made in realtime for testing things) EDIT/ watch post down for the screen

I don't know the game, but it doesn't seem like there's a whole lot going on in that screenshot. It's mostly empty space. Also, when you post images, please try to post them small enough so that they don't stretch out the page horizontally for anyone who has a smaller than 1080p screen.

I agree with Coolkirby. The screenshot is very uneventful and unless you know the glitch, the screenshot doesn't look that weird.

The screenshot must have the main character (Unless it's 007, MOH, MG, FPS games basically)
