This is a request for this strange RPG. You do level up but you actually have to attach level-up panels to get the bonus stats. Would it be faster to ignore the level-up panels completely, attach every one you get or some sort of in-between? There are also weapon panels, spell panels and ability panels. Which ones would be practically essential? I'd say the Glide and Haste panels. And would the time needed to synthesize some of them be worth it? In some missions, you have to defeat a certain number of enemies or collect a certain number of items. You usually don't have to do 100% though. Figuring out a route for doing so each time would be tricky...
Why, oh, why do I even try to understand my own species?

The US and Europe releases exist, according to No-Intro's DAT-o-Matic. The US version came out in late September, the Europe in early October.
Taking over the world, one game at a time. Currently TASing: Nothing

Another Kingdom Hearts game for the DS. This one actually already has a runner for it. He's currently up to Day 11 in his TAS, and has posted 4 WIPs on it. Link to video Link to video Link to video Link to video A notable thing is that he didn't change the default camera so it doesn't follow Roxas, which wastes enough time to cause him to restart the TAS. I'm interested in TASing it as well, so we'll see how it goes. One guy known as irico358 currently holds the WR, being almost 14 minutes faster then other runs. So if a route is going to be created, it'll start with this. Link to video

Oh, I didn't realize there was a topic on it. (Albeit very old) So yeah mods, can you please move this information to that topic? Edit: All righty then. Time for a WIP! Link to video First bit of it. I set the camera to manual so I can have more precise walking angles. Edit 2: Day 9 done. I take damage here so I can manipulate the Yellow Operas better. Link to video

sorry for the lack of updates, been busy. Anywho, I've begun collaborating with the other Days TASer, 1000literdew, so we can help each other out on it. Currently up to Day 23. I'll post a WIP once we finish the Darkside mission.

Nice. I don't see a problem/issue. How many Rerecords have you done?

Returning to working on this after...quite a while! 1000liter apparently went completely AWOL, so I decided to redo the TAS from scratch. As it turns out, there was a lot to improve. Link to video -Using the stylus for the camera now, since I've gained a lot more experience since a year ago. It's much better then using the manual camera. -The second fight on Day 9 is different due to some random RNG I couldn't figure out. The third fight is much faster thanks to this, so it saves more time then it wastes it seems. Currently at 3710 rerecords.

Hello, Glad to see you working on this again (and congratulations for Re:Coded ;) ). Your work is always good. I'm looking forward to watching the other missions (especially some bosses).

Link to video First of six WIPs. I improved the old one by about 34 seconds, thanks mostly to using the stylus camera.

Hey I just found out this is still being updated. I don't know if this will effect you but we recently found out that the PAL version of 358/2 loses 1 minute to NTSC on the credits. However the PAL version saves around a minute+ to the NTSC version via text if you set the DS's language to Italian. We're still not 100% sure which is faster but it may be something to look into (Unless you want to keep the language in english in which case it doesn't really matter). Keep up the work. I've managed to push the Re:Coded time down a long way because of your Re:Coded TAS so I hope to do the same with Days once you finish this. Also I can't wait to see Ruler of the Sky 0 cycle done.

Yo good work so far. I was just wondering on day 152 we were always wondering it it would be possible to skip the cutscene trigger in the graveyard if we had the heartless die as you were transitioning screens (Similar to the Abu skip on day 51). We ruled it out for single segment but it might be doable for the TAS. Also if you can find an out of bounds for 255 maze then it might be possible to skip the first guard but we've never been able to find anything.
