I just wanted to check, but... is it correct that you: - Have no sound with the encode you posted - Skipped level 1: The Fairy Council Also, you're showing parts out of order. Was this intended? Please explain your WIP a bit. The part at 2:27 where you walk to the exit of the level seems suboptimal. I see you change direction twice instead of walking in a straight line to the exit. And at 2:53 you fire a useless shot and then proceed to charge up a punch. Also, is there any reason you need to use the curve shots? Don't these take longer to get to their target? At 2:28 you perform a glitch to jump up into the air really high? How is this done? Do you have a link to the video this is found in? At 5:34 you fire another useless shot and curve towards the right for this, I believe that cost you several frames as you could've just walked straight forward mostly and made a sharp turn at the rock wall. The moment the segment at 5:56 starts, you swerve a bit instead of walking in a straight line towars the enemy. Is walking straight in this game hard or are you just not used to TASing a 3D game? More swerving at the boss starting at around 9:10. Okay, this one seems really suboptimal, at 9:58 you kill the enemy, actually miss the power spot, walk towards the middle a bit and then walk back, as if you forgot that you didn't hit it. It also didn't seem to be a way to save time, as you let the rocket fly pretty far. The guy was in the middle when you got the rocket, was there any reason you couldn't set it off right away? And lastly, the video ends before all the enemies were killed. It doesn't even match up with the earlier part where you showed what happened after defeating the boss. So, I think it's overall not bad, but it seems pretty suboptimal still.

The movement looks really jerky at the start, is this the fastest way to navigate or something else?

For sound : I didn't put sound because of size. ^^' For First level: it was ininteresting For SuperJump: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYmESUnEtDs Walking diagonal or walking weirdly = same speed so I just did same thing " Okay, this one seems really suboptimal, at 9:58 you kill the enemy, actually miss the power spot, walk towards the middle a bit and then walk back, as if you forgot that you didn't hit it. Yes, I did this because if i do it right now the boss goes into the red missile power and destroy it. So i just make him come in me a bit and i can take missile, so did i have to redo part?

Really? I would have liked to see the level being cut short, that Super Jump might save quite a bit of time. Plus, I'd like to see the disco board thing you get when you transition between certain levels TASed (I hope you know what I mean).

Really, swerving is just as fast? Did you only check the speed you were going at, or how long it takes to get from point A to point B? Because I find the supposed fact that swerving takes just as long as a straight walk rather hard to believe. It also looks less optimal.

Well, it looks like you messed it up, since you don't get it, walk away a bit and then get it again. So, my advice is to take a little longer getting to that spot, to avoid having to look suboptimal. The other thing you didn't reply to is the missile delay. After you get it, there seems to be a delay between when you get the power and when you shoot. It looks weird, because the second missile you got was shot immediately. Is there any reason for this 'visual' delay? And what about the rest of my comments? Do you agree with me on those?

I don't understand for missile thing. And for agreeing And at 2:53 you fire a useless shot and then proceed to charge up a punch. Also, is there any reason you need to use the curve shots? I'll explain the missile a bit better. Look at 9:39 in the video, you just got the last power spot and the missile detergent appears in the middle. You get it and immediately fire a missile that hits the boss just a few frames later. Yet, at 10:02, with the boss in almost the same position, you get the missile, walk back a bit, resulting in the boss walking far away from you, making the missile take several seconds to reach the boss. So, my question is: "Why didn't you fire the missile immediately like you did the second time?"

same speed that just I have time to throw some.
Okay, so as I understand it, you claim that you couldn't have destroyed the enemy faster if you didn't fire that "useless" shot and did it purely for entertainment purposes. You really couldn't have destroyed the enemy quicker? Because, as I see it, you're still charging up the punch when you can already lock on, so I think you could've fired a charge shot faster. Just compare from 2:53 to 2:56 in the video. You lock on just a bit after you start charging. I hope you understand, English clearly isn't your strong point.

I don't have the processing power to run Dolphin well enough at this moment, but when I do, I'd like to have your movie file, to check some things out. For now, you're basically on your own. Don't quit!

For missile, I turned rayman because it's more faster than turning missile For the movie file, you don't need to have good power i'm tasing on a pc, Dolphin emulates at 3 fps with this PC. I think you could help For my english, i'm french, currently learning english

Wow, you guys are quick. The last two levels were definitely done better than the first one you posted. I didn't notice as many things. I would like to ask you why you showed the fight against Razoff in the middle of crossing the swamp at the beginning. I found that rather strange. It's a shame you couldn't get Razoff to move to the last area where you end the level right away, even though you already fully drained his health. In the Land of the Livid Dead, the only thing I noticed is when you scale the tower (the first time, without going through the portal first), you don't land on the edge of the stairway. Instead you seem to hover for just a bit longer and I believe that adds a couple of extra frames for the two times you do it. And with the seemingly suboptimal walking again, but it's a 3D game, so I understand it's difficult to optimize. Great job so far.

Yeah, I couldn't manipulate luck for last hit

Can you tell me at what time in video it is ? And for Desert of Knarrens, it's almost done, stuck at an glitch which I can't get to work on GC.

I find it odd nobody decides to reply, you're clearly doing a good job and you're fast. Rayman 3 isn't a bad game either. Maybe nobody's played it? By the way, I already feel bad for you when you have to TAS the final boss. When I defeated him last time, it took me at least 15 minutes!

At about 5:25 and again at about 5:34. By the way, you also move a bit to the left a few seconds after that, was there a reason?

mmmh... yeah your right for for the first thing. It can be improved maybe xD and after, I don't move because I have the time because I need the guy from cage to get down xD By the way can you add me in skype: got4n123 or give me yours?

I'm sorry, I won't skype with you. Mine is a bit too personal. Plus, the forums exist for discussions, so I prefer to keep it here. That said, did you manage to pull off that glitch you were talking about in the Desert of the Knarren? I wasn't sure if there was anything super slow this time around. Any ideas yourself for improvements?

No, I meant before that. On your way up the staircase you veer to the left and then back to the right. It looks like that cost you time.

Oh yeah, it's may be a known improvement, the glitch where I was stuck was a strafe-rolling, which make me a superjump. Mmmh.. I didn't find improvements then ^^'. Thanks for your help :P
