In an effort to avoid several hours of work trying to make every future dolphin movie sync, i am going to list out everything that should be done to ensure anyone else can get your movie to sync, with as little hassle as possible. While this is probably incomplete, it should hopefully be sufficient.
First, before you start tasing, always download a fresh copy of dolphin from
http://www.dolphin-emulator.com/download . If you are using a different build, still do this, and just replace the exe. This will ensure that all settings, and other files are the same as what everyone else will have.
Don't change any settings that aren't important. Pretty much anything can affect sync, so if you don't have a reason to change a setting, leave it alone.
Keep a separate copy of dolphin for each game you tas. While not strictly necessary, it will greatly simplify making sure nothing changes, if you use dolphin for anything else. Dolphin makes no attempt to make sure important files haven't changed since you recorded a movie, and you may not always be aware that they changed.
Post the entire dolphin\user\config folder with your submissions. Even if you think you listed out everything important, you probably didn't, so just post this to make sure.
If you started tasing without a clean copy of dolphin, and it doesn't sync on a clean copy, figure out what is necessary to make it sync
before submitting, and include it. The easiest way to do this is to copy one folder from the user directory at a time, until it syncs. The obvious ones that can affect sync are config, wii, and gameconfig. Just because it synced fine for you does not mean it will for anyone else!
Turn off EuRGB60 for wii games, unless playing a pal game. This is on by default, and affects sync, even for ntsc games. Don't ask me why, just turn it off.
The tl;dr here is before submitting a movie, please determine what exactly is needed to make it sync, so i don't have to do it for you.
