Are Colonel and Storm Owl the only bosses susceptible to multi-hits from the Nova Strike? Yes vote, by the way. My favorite WTF moment was the spike walls not killing you in the final battle. Do they lose their instant kill properties that early?

What is that weapon used against web spider on the second fight?
Twin Slasher. X gets it from Slash Beast.

Web Spider is as well.

The spike wall doesn't instant-kill, although it does a ton of damage. But I don't know as well why it doesn't damage X at that time.

Those spikes aren't insta-kill? I never knew that. My mind is blown.

I actually found the jump-moving a little disconcerting. It's kind of odd that more direct dashing is only reasonable in the ice stage. Ah well, yes vote from me. Also, the bosses in this particular game just kind of irk me for some reason. They feel either unimaginative or derived. o.O
First a movie gets submitted, and ends up accepted despite breaking rules other runs have been rejected for. And when I vote less than spectacularly on this movie, I become the victim of harassment and threats. Yay, favoritism.

The spike blinks and loses effect before it disappears. But, it looks not blinking in Youtube due to 30 fps encoding.

All those years of testing, and Light never could get rid of that chronic hiccuping...

Hmm, this game doesn't look so interesting in a TAS as some of the other Mega Man games, but it's still OK. (Also, bunny hopping in a Mega Man game, how bizarre...)

This was quite delicious, especially the clever weapon usage towards the ending of the run. Tricks such as jumping over enemies using that spider platform upgrade are always a joy to watch. Unobvious and secretive yes vote.

After several Mega Man X Zero games, Capcom finally decided to give X a chance to be the star. Being the giddy little sugar filled robot that he is, he bounces like a hyper jackrabbit throughout the game. As he defeats all the bosses and Sigma once again, his OCD kicks in and he has to collect everything before finishing the game.

Web Spider is like "I am going to hide." X goes, "P3n!" and there was much p3nage to be had.
When TAS does Quake 1, SDA will declare war. The Prince doth arrive he doth please.

Yes vote for the run (amazing use of weapons) and I hope this becomes the movie description once published:

I don't know, but wouldn't it be much faster if you took the red machine to fight against Magma Dragoon? Using the way Zero does to Bosses almost everytime. I think that could work, however, I haven't tested it myself yet.
Recent projects: SMB warpless TAS (2018), SMB warpless walkathon (2019), SMB something never done before (2019), Extra Mario Bros. (best ending) (2020).

I'm pretty sure the Ride Armor causes invincibility on hits, like is normal. I'm also pretty sure the attacks can't be cancelled by dashing, so using Zero's SDC with it isn't possible.

Yeah, you're right. So the Ride Armor is not quite like Zero, I must have been mistaken about it. I guess further testing is always needed.

The publication should probably add "Genre: Action" to mirror the Zero-branch.

Jumping is faster than dashing. This is because dashing delays X (as well as Zero) for about 5 frames.

sparky has a lot of time to kill in the first fight against split mushroom, did he test if the lightning web could damage mushroom during the intro?
TAS i'm interested: Megaman series, specially the RPGs! Where is the mmbn1 all chips TAS we deserve? Where is the Command Mission TAS? i'm slowly moving away from TASing fighting games for speed, maybe it's time to start finding some entertainment value in TASing.
