At first, I was not going to submit this movie here.
The points of (J) ROM different from (U) ROM is:
At (J) ROM, there three character "Dr. Light, Roll, Auto" in the conversations after stage clear. At (U) ROM, there are only Dr. Light. (Their conversations length are different from the others, so it needs a few frames for luck manipulation.)
(J) ROM's conversations are faster than (U) ROM.

I succeeded that wall climbing speed is faster than any% run.
In Spring Man stage, I found shortcut to get Auto's Bolt.
Using the Ghosts and Goblins music in Shade Man stage is faster 10 frames than not using.
In Shade Man stage, I shortcut the middle boss by using Rush Jet.
It can't be fast that using the Super Adapter at battle with Bass.
In Wily stage4, it is possible ignore elevator by using up + down sliding when elevator's position is most up.
Battle with Wily Capsule is optimized more than any% run.

Aside from missing the Noise Crush instant-kill trick on Spring Man, this looks spot-on.
Yes vote.

<dwangoAC> This is a TAS (...). Not suitable for all audiences. May cause undesirable side-effects. May contain emulator abuse. Emulator may be abusive. This product contains glitches known to the state of California to cause egg defects.
<Masterjun> I'm just a guy arranging bits in a sequence which could potentially amuse other people looking at these bits
<adelikat> In Oregon Trail, I sacrificed my own family to save time. In Star trek, I killed helpless comrades in escape pods to save time. Here, I kill my allies to save time. I think I need help.
Probably, it is faster than that previously goes to ShadeMan before SpringMan stage.
But I didn't know instant-kill by using Crush Noise...
Fortunately, Super Rockman's Super Rocket Punch 4 damages Shademan.
Other special weapon can damage only 1.
Now, now, there's nothing to be angry about. Use these links, they don't require registration:

Note to sparky: Niconico is a good service, but since it requires registration (and in my case frequently drops it for some unknown reason) it would be common courtesy to provide links that work around that, like I did above. You can replace the links in your submission by editing it.
Yay! I love Mega Man TASes, and 100% lets me have MOAR!
I personnally like killing the boss normally, as it is more entertaining, and 2) it shows off more TAS stuff (as the NoiseCrush trick can be easily done in real time.)
Question though. Would the NoiseCrush trick work on _other_ bosses? It may save some time.
Yes vote, but I think there a few frames of improvement scattered around.
I know it works on Turbo Man, but the time saved there would be negated by doing Shade Man's level twice. In 100%, you need to visit Blues in Turbo Man before Shade Man in order to get the Blues Shield.

I'm not sure why the Japanese version is used for this, but this was a nice run! Some parts look much better than the current published run (Cloud Man battle and Shade Man stage with the knight heads, for instance). Thanks also for using the Ghosts and Goblins music in that stage!
I think there's a little too much wobbling, but sometimes the wobbling is pretty funny. Also, some other random questions:
Is it faster to leave the weather rainy in Cloud Man, instead of making it snow?
Why do you use Freeze Cracker on Slash Man the first time you fight him? It seems like Scorch Wheel gives him less invincible time.
In the Slash Man refight, how did you get the sticky red blobs off of your head so quickly?
It's also a shame that you couldn't find any good use of the extra items you got. You only used the Super Adapter once (and not in the second fight against Bass).
However, great job, and Yes vote!
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically.
Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.)
Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html)
Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature!
Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. From the submission comments:
I'll hold off on voting for now, but I'm leaning towards no unless convinced otherwise, for the following reasons:
1) Uses (J) ROM instead of (U) ROM without any real reason. As I said in the latest Ocarina of Time run, I don't think there should be a "Nicovideo first" exception to that rule.
2) Does not exploit all known bugs. I haven't really been following MM7 TASing, but I knew about the Noise Crush bug, which is a bad sign. I'm guessing that if the author had checked the MM7 thread here while making this movie, he would have known about it, too (since the first post I saw about it here was from late 2007).
3) Very little is gained by this being a 100% run. Since the obtained items aren't used at all, getting them adds little to the run besides extra waiting for Rush to dig stuff up. The only real "new content" from this being 100% is the Protoman battle, which isn't exactly the highlight of the run.
Overall, I rather enjoyed this run, since the levels and bosses were well done (from an entertainment point of view). The issues listed above make me wonder if this really belongs on this site, however. The author certainly did a good job with this, and I would love to see a (U) version any% run from him.
The any% run uses it. The reason was for the faster conversations with Dr Light. So let's throw this stupid argument out.
We know it exists, but don't know if it's faster to do the 2nd 4 out of order. I've yet to see evidence that the time by not having Spring before Shade will cover this. If there is, please point me to it. I'd like to see it.
Might as well throw out all the other arbitrary categories out while we're at it too, huh?
No reason to be hostile. I merely think this needs to be given stricter scrutiny than many people here have done.
No, the any% run uses it because it is "more entertaining" (it has "funny" stage descriptions and Roll/Auto dialog that is never seen), and was accepted despite the fact that the different version is used rather than because of it. Unless I am mistaken, shorter text/title screen has never been a valid reason to choose (J) over (U). A previously accepted run of the (J) version should not automatically allow other movies to do so. Indeed:
I don't know if it has been tested or not, either. If it had been tested and didn't save any time, it should have been mentioned in either the submission text or a post in the MM7 thread. But the lack of mention anywhere makes me think that the author just never tested it.
This is why I said I am holding off on voting - if someone can show somewhere that says that the bug does not save time in a 100% run, I'd up my vote to at least a "meh".
Arbitrary categories should be accepted only if they provide significant additional entertainment value. For example, the MMX 100% run is still entertaining since it puts the Hadoken to good use.
I'm not sure that this run does enough that it wouldn't have done during an any% run. The level order might be changed, but the strategies used during levels don't seem significantly different. The majority of items collected happen "on the way", without seeming to require much additional effort to obtain. I am unconvinced that this is a game where a 100% run is different enough from a regular run to warrant a different category be made, much like I would probably oppose a 100% category for Mega Man 5 or 6.
So we're going to lose some excelent Japanese TASers just because they can't understand English?
I find this rule usage kinda silly. The fact that this run is in Japanese don't make this movie a bad one. I mean, it's Megaman. I don't really need to understand how Dr. Wily is going to conquer the world this time (it's always the same, come one), but I wouldn't like to see RPGs TASes in Japanese.
I'd suggest ruling this case by case. Most platformers don't need translations. Hell, most NES games are barely translated.
Oh, really awesome run. Yes vote
My first language is not English, so please excuse myself if I write something wrong. I'll do my best do write as cleary as I can, so cope with me here =)
(ノಥ益ಥ)ノ
Some people need to get off of their high horses and give 100% TASes a chance instead of going with their preconceived ideals.
I rather enjoyed the TAS, giving it a yes vote.
I will agree that in a lot of games, Japanese text is a pain because I don't understand what's going on. But THIS is Megaman. There's really no way you CAN'T understand what's going on.
Now, for RPGs, I think they should all be done in U.S. Language. That way everyone can pretty much understand what's going on there.
But one reason for either not voting or voting no on a Megaman game being Japanese text? That's just plain stupid.

The guy is japanese, thus using J ROM because english is not his native language. He probably wasn't even aware of us before he worked on this. Enough said.
Have not seen you for a long time
parrot14gree ~~~
You will also want to make TAS?
Megaman & Bass [Rockman & Forte]
Megaman pure speed any% TAS?
I really like your work
