Has anyone considered SMARTBALL (JP: JerryBoy)?
You play this little blob that can go through pipes and latch onto walls / ceiling.
The action can get pretty fast paced too and the controls are pretty varied. I think it may make a good choice for something fresh.
This signature is much better than its previous version.
I'd like to see a Jerry Boy run, personally--since we all we ever saw was the cut down Smart Ball, it be nice to see the true version, even in Japanese (and yes, I have played the translated version).
Might look into that once I'm done with Pushover. That might take a few more days or even weeks, though. Depends on how fast planning works out.
However, I think PoP2 would be more interesting, as it isn't as similar to the genesis movie as PoP1 would be.
Magic Sword...it's up there with Gradius 3 for my favorite arcade-to-SNES conversions. While there are a lot of floors if you were to start from the beginning, the levels are very short, and using the right secondary characters and taking damage on purpose could make a very quick and fun to watch video...

And how about Claymates? Is someone working on it? Many people has requsted it as "want to see." I hope someone will try an attack of it soon.
Sunset Riders and Puzzle Bobble would be awesome too, DO THEM NOW! :>
I hate to revive this thread, but I didn't want to make a new topic just to reply to flagitious here.
I agree wholeheartedly with this, but I am partial to the PC version, because from what I remember, the console versions were tweaked to make them a little easier.
Which level are you talking about? I beat the SNES version losing only 3 lemmings: 2 in classic and 1 in polar.

Totally agree with those.. But it would also be awesome to see Tiny Toons Busts Loose, some Street Fighter game or Mortal Mombat and Claymates or even Daffy Duck The Marvin Missions!
Edit: I forgot Puzzle Bobble
How about a run of Fire Emblem 4 - seisen no keifu? I enjoyed that game, and it is supposed to be one of the best Fire Emblem games. Since runs of other FE-games are on the way now, it would be nice to see one of this one too. It is in Japanese, though, but the dialogue would be skipped anyway, so that shouldn't matter much, and translations are available too.
Great RPG games that still lack a TAS but are definitely worth one are Terranigma, Seiken Densetsu 3 and Secret of Mana, and maybe Secret of Evermore any%.
In Racing games, F-Zero GP mode would definitely kick some ass as well (which Super Mario Kart already showed, being pretty similar to F-Zero).
