What you should do instead is grab my WIP and Lua script from the previous forum page and use said lua script when TASing. To get speed addresses working, slide leftward , pause the game midslide and click on the square.
Then just continue TASing on the WIP for yourself, or wait for Vanillacoke (who pmed me) to give word on whether he will try / has tried to fix the dsm or not.
Or TAS single modes.
As for me, I'm not going to TAS this game anytime soon. I'm on Mario + Luigi.

Im passing the game myself so its easier to copy/paste edit later, since we'll have the whole thing, and you're play will also be included (speaking of which, you need to provide me with movies of your best run on spring breeze, gourmet race, dyna blade [not 100%], and meta knight mare ultra so i can put em in later. Also, could you ask waddledx to send his movie file for helper to hero using burning leo? I think his runs would make him a good co author for the project, too :) ) ill do the metaknightmare ultra (minus springbreeze), revenge of the king, milky way wishes, revenge of meta knight, arena, and true arena, but could you find someone to do great cave offensive? If not, ill do that too (i think ill be doing the most work in this -.-), but itll be great if you or someone else can find someone for the job.

Im playing through myself but your runs are faster so i want to add them and, combined with my runs of the levels you didnt do, it'll be a super fast run. Im only passing it myself so that its easier to edit later on (also ... I just feel like playing through the game again myself in the process. Its one of my favorite games) does that make sense? I need your runs cause itll be faster, and this WAS your idea, so you should be recognized as a member of the project (i just like giving everyone who contributes credit, even if its small). Also, i wont beat the game THAT fast, especially while tasing.

You can continue on my WIP under the following conditions:
- The authorship is split up. That means I will be credited for Spring Breeze, Gourmet Race, Dyna Blade. You may not upload videos of these TASes to Youtube. You may especially not make financial profit of these TASes that aren't your own work. (These conditions aren't bound to any laws, I'm only saying it should be frowned upon to not abide by them).
- If you finish the movie, talk back to me. I will not agree to the movie being submitted to TASvideos or the movie uploaded to Youtube as a full run unless the TAS quality is good enough (close to or on par of what my TASes were). What you can do is upload the parts to Youtube that are indeed your own work. This is what I mean by "the authorship is split up".
Please avoid talking like you can use anyone's input as you please. As mentioned further below, it took me a lot of time to do the current WIP and I do not want you to finish a movie within a day and submit it to TASvideos (which means everyone can upload the movie which also contains my work to Youtube). (Thanks to the the user (name withheld) who brought up these concerns)
How you watch the Stone Helper To Hero run: you click on the link and it should load the video. If it doesn't, update your Adobe Flash and try again.
If you're going to make a TAS, you should have played through the game beforehand, and planned out the routes and strategies. If you're going to TAS a game without even knowing what you do, it's going to be a bad TAS. And if you're going to pick up where I left off you should keep up the gameplay quality.
You need to realize that it doesn't take only 3 days to complete this TAS. It took me maybe 1 week to complete Spring Breeze, then maybe another week to complete Gourmet Race, and then another week or two for DynaBlade. And Great Cave Offensive may as well take a month or two, and needs route planning. Metaknightmare Ultra will take another shit ton of testing. And Milky Way Wishes too. Metaknight's Revenge and Revenge of the King are straight forward but they will still take time. Helper to hero, Arena and true arena should be very easy.
If you don't put time into this project (or any TAS project) then it will make for a bad TAS that looks like someone played it in realtime or that does obvious mistakes. I've seen it a few times that someone new drops by the forum and shows interest in TASing a certain game but underestimates what it takes to do it. Please realize that it takes patience and a lot of time and motivation (if you want to do a perfect job at it).

eh heh, fun fact about spring breeze, meta knightmare ultra, and revenge of the king and meta knight, apparently by pressing left or right on the continue button, you could go to a certain level without having to pass the whole thing again in new game. that wouldve been good to know when i had beaten the game 100% before I lost it on my real ds -.-
Hey, i want to work on my other tas for a while. Im holding off my part of the kssu until im done with the one i started first, by myself. Dont worry, ill continue the kssu run when im done, but i want to see if I can earn the rookie of the year award possibly. And since it has to be for the first publication, i want to finish first. To do it, flap in midair, start diving and flap again right after, and get hit heavily (gordo, lava, electric blocks, etc)
It doesn't have a use in a TAS yet. It can't be used in Gourmet race 3 because the spiked walls only deal light damage.
Does anyone know why the graphics bug out during transitions?
It doesn't happen in no$gba for some reason, so it probably isn't because everyone who TAS'd game ever downloaded a bad dump or something. The sound is awful in no$ instead, but that's probably because it doesn't support KSSU's surround sound option, which is selected by default.

Plasma doesn't clear the ground in the bonkers fight sadly. But maybe you can bring a helper (you need one later anyway I think).
It looks like Plasma really fails in the next room where you need a cutting ability.. You'd need a bird helper.

So, i've been running KSSU for a while, and it seems a certain glitch in MKU isn't either known or used. It's pretty useful and saves around 10s throughout it(only for IGT). We call it a megajump and if you see it you should instantly understand how it works.

WaddleDX made a TAS of Meta Knightmare Ultra - Spring Breeze in 1:39.65 which obsoletes the previous TAS by by 5.41 seconds.
He used a new trick for extra momentum (dash into Meta Quick/Helper).
