I've been wondering why anyone hasn't touched this game yet. Since there hasn't been a person doing this yet, I decided to take the challenge on! I got a WIP to start out with: Level 1 (Ends at the begining of Level 2) Feel free to comment.

I can't comment on how good this is technically (as I don't know this game and so on), but I personally found it fairly entertaining. As a sidenote, isn't this game shown in one of the AVGN intros for a brief moment?

Well it is actually a great game. Many people say that this game is bad because it is hard. But this is the first game made by Treasure (The company who made Gunstar Heroes) so its not perfect. And it was in the Sega CD episode on AVGN. Also, Everything and I mean EVERYTHING was in Frame Advance! Anyways thanks for the feedback ShinyDoofy! OH, By the way, should I tell the people who read this forum about the handkerchief trick in 1-6?

I think you should lay open the glitches you used because this way people could start their own experiments with the game and find possible improvements.

I've played this game a little, and it's a good game even if it is McDonald's (just like MC Kids, I guess). Ronald walks fast enough to make it reasonably TASable. The handkerchief could prove to be useful. I don't know about any glitches, though.

Ok then... When you get hit, you usually get knocked back. But when you use the handkerchief and get hit, you don't get knocked back, you just continue walking/falling. This also works with ducking for some reason.

I did a TAS of a few sections of this back in September, but it ends up being a few seconds slower than yours. Regarding the run, I don't like being hit in the first area (27s), so I slowed down to avoid that. Here is my run: http://dehacked.2y.net/microstorage.php/info/216829057/McDonald%27s%20Treasure%20Land%20Adventure.gmv

Thats ok, since I manipulate drops to get it full again. I see you didn't use frame advance! For shame... Oh one more thing: 60% of scrolling levels complete! Now comes the city!

Level 2 is now done! Excuse the lack of entertainment in the scrolling parts, as this is my first TAS. Level 2

Level 3 has finally been done. I bet people gave up hope on me and thought I would never finish this TAS (I also think they aren't interested). I started this, and I'll finish it! I still need to hex the beginning of level 1 because I found out jumping as soon as you hit the ground is faster.

Thanks! I'm on the final boss, and I found a neat trick on it too!
