OK. There's a Game Genie code I've been searching for since like, forever. It's not anywhere on the 'net. I've got no leads, nada. Anyway, as a kid, I found this Game Genie code for Mortal Kombat (for Genesis) in a magazine. It was either Gamepro, Game Players (I think that's what it was?) or some other magazine like that. In one of them, there was a code for a "Fatality Slide" by Sub-Zero. With the code on, if you did a slide at any point in the match and it connected without being blocked, the victim's head would just disappear with some blood and would float down through the ground, stopping after a couple of big "THUD" sounds. I once had the code memorized. Sadly, the magazine is long gone and the code has been long forgotten. Can anyone seriously help me with this? I have faith that if anybody can do it, it's you guys. I know I'm not crazy, I clearly remember putting in this code on multiple occasions.

I don't remember if Game Pro ever introduce Game Genie code anywhere in any issues. If it helps any for you.

I couldn't remember if it was or not. It must've been Game Players or whatever it was. The magazine's gone through a few different names, if I recall correctly? I haven't kept up with any gaming magazines for nearly a decade.

maybe?
I make a comic with no image files and you should read it. While there is a lower class, I am in it, and while there is a criminal element I am of it, and while there is a soul in prison, I am not free. -Eugene Debs

I can vouch for Boco. I only have maybe four issues of the thing, but Gamepro did indeed have Game Genie codes, either as a construction paper insert, or in regular print towards the front of the magazine. Game Players also had Game Genie codes, but they were printed in the back with the regular button codes.
Kirby said so, so it must be true. ( >'.')>
