If after you've practiced enough, you want to aim for a publishable run, you could do 100%. That one would find all the secret switches and probably avoid the stone glitch.
Sorry for hi-jacking, but what "state" is the game at after the credits are reached via stone glitch? Does it still only have the first stage unlocked? Or up to the last? Similarly if you wrong warp to a different world's stage, does it unlock the previous worlds too? If not, then the stone glitch seems rather useless in a 100%.

It has all played stages unlocked, unless something that clears save data is triggered when performing stone glitch.

So stages you didn't play are not unlocked.

Wow, man. You've been at this for three years! I'm really impressed, nice work. This is a great example of putting in all the effort to squeak everything you can find out of something. If 20% of the effort gets you 80% of the results, it's clear that you put in a great effort to get the last 20% of results. Three years, wow! As comparison, I did the old run you're about to obsolete in a weekend. Clearly it was a 20% effort from me, and I was satisfied with that at the time, but I recognize and respect how much you've put into this, and I'm really happy to see this project come to fruition for you. Congratulations!

I made no major glitches (NMG) 100% TAS while ago. NMG prohibits keeping ufo glitch or stone glitch but any type of clipping glitch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JyRC2kn6D7w I'm not going to submit this because it's sub optimal compare to current existing runs. I just thought posting some complete run wouldn't hurt. But I actually managed to save time from this run in some places. Metaknights fight in 6-6 is most notable one.

For getting all the extra lives... Level 1: Get 7-6-5-4 in that order. It's possible to have 10 lives before Whispy Woods. (6 1UPs) Level 2: Get 3-2-1-7-6 in that order. It's possible to have 50 lives before Paint Roller. (46 1UPs) Level 3: Get 5-4-3-2-1-7 in that order. It's possible to have 90 lives before Mr. Shine & Mr. Bright. (86 1UPs) Level 4: Get 6-5-4-3-2-1 in that order. It's possible to get 126 1UPs before Kracko. Level 5: Get 7-6-5-4-3-2 in that order. It's possible to get 142 1UPs before Heavy Mole. Level 6: Get 1-7-6-5-4-3 in that order. It's possible to get 192 1UPs before Meta Knight. Level 7: Get 2-1-1-1-1-1 in that order. It's possible to get 234 1UPs before King Dedede. There are 124 1UPs to get for finishing every stage once.

Looks decent. Lag could be improved, but depends on how much you are willing to push the game. For vertical sections you could try ledge-boosting, it should work as normal Kirby too. I think I have seen a clip like that before, on a different stage tho.

There's a new glitch involving the pause menu. If you pause at the same time a enemy appears it'll still be active. If you get hit by it, you'll get unpaused as well. One of the interesting side effects is that you can quit out of a level while touching a warp star and perform a "wrong warp". None of the ones possible are useful though. In 1-2, it'll take you to 1-1, and 4-3 will take you to the level 4 hub. 6-3 isn't possible since you can't interact with the star, and all other rooms with warp stars are single screens with no enemies. Wow, that is a really cool find! I love seeing stuff like this. Shame it's not useful, but maybe another use can be found for the glitch.

The reason some pause-clips work is that enemies will glitch upward during the pause-state. Link to video use ',' and '.' to frame advance the video.

A wallclip was found yesterday. Kirby has to have an ability that will _not_ give him something to hold like a sword or hammer. Then, run at a 1 block wide gap and crouch before reaching the gap and when done correctly, you will fall off the ledge and into the corner beyond the gap. I need to try this myself yet. E; http://www.twitch.tv/cornettheory/c/1739676 0:50 This needs to be researched now too, which I'll do tomorrow. Currently, the glitched TAS can be improved just a little bit in 2-3. At best, I want to clip in the first level already, though.
I noticed that people have started to make videos and writeups about the history of this game's TAS, and I've seen that because twitch has been rather careless about preserving clips, this footage got lost to time. Luckily I had it exported to youtube. So here is the original video of my tiny tiny contribution to this game's TAS journey, where I stumbled upon the wall clip. I was trying to keep the hammer for the boss, and I lost it in a goofy way, falling into the ground. I dont know if it is related or had inspired the slope clip that was used immediately after, but at least this was useful for a bit, and I think that's neat. https://youtu.be/pVpYlH_5mj4?si=imTI1zd-g6tSdxGa

Thanks for sharing the preserved clip, and for posting it in the first place. It's hard to know if TASeditor was inspired by your video or not, but I think it's likely, given that previously we thought Kirby needed an enemy to clip out and couldn't under his own power. After that, it was only a matter of time before the gaps in slopes were found. In any case, thanks for reminding us what an amazing year 2013 was for this game's TAS. Can you share some of the videos or writeups you've found, or maybe just the best one? Those can be fun, even when one was there to see it unfold back in the day.

I was watching this video from storster, and noticed the section about mugg, with a big "*clip not found" and I was compelled to find out why it was not found. Link to video

Not sure if I watched the clip with the corner clip back then, but I was pretty much uninspired by anything when I found the slope clip on accident.

https://pastebin.com/aAUh2Wtf Small luascript I made. It's basicly the luascript I already had for FCEUX but converted so you can run it on Bizhawk 2.9.x. You can also use it to edit Kirby's X and Y pixel position, sub pixel position and map position and speed, for testing purposes.
