In case you've been living under a rock for the past two weeks, Blizzard has been slowly building hype for their next big release. Using an intro splash screen on their site, they've been building up to their next officially planned game by playing off of their great track record of original PC releases. Today/tonight, at a Korean Starcraft tournament, Blizzard finally announced that Starcraft 2 is officially on its way to release, though no date has been set as of yet. Along with this,
they aired their teaser trailer for the game, which doesn't look too shabby.
Starcraft fans can rejoice. While I'd have rather seen Diablo 3 hit the shelves, encountering the Xel'naga is more than enough to satiate my Blizzard needs.
This thread is officially about anticipating SC2/bitching about the lack of D3 updates (they haven't even restarted the D2:LoD ladder in forever million years).
