Rampage beaten using only the A button

I was remembering the time me and two friends sat down and beat Rampage. You have infinite continues, and we swapped off using two characters. I think it took about 6 hours.
Then I thought about how if you take too long on a level, a little green guy sets explosives under the buildings one at a time until the level is cleared.
So theoretically to beat the game, all you have to do is push A -- this gets you through the start screens and activates the continue when you die.
Waiting until the character dies every time to push A would be boring, so I experimented with autofire a little, and found 1 on and 5 off in FCEU 16 worked well for my purposes.
I also did not want to play at 100% speed obviously, so I assigned A autofire and turbo to the same key...
I still didn't want to hold down one key for who-knows-how-long. Fortunately windows is kind enough to provide something called StickyKeys. By default, if you press shift 5 times in a row a dialog pops up asking if you want to enable it. If you do, you can tap shift, ctrl, or alt and it will treat it as if it is held down contstantly. So once I set my hotkeys appropriately, all I had to do was enable StickyKeys, start the movie and push shift once, and wait out the movie.
It's 1.5 million frames. 7 hours, almost. 1 megabyte. (If you zip it up though it shrinks to 2 kb ;)
Fortunately for me it only took about half an hour on turbo! Probably one of the only movies that took shorter to record than to play back at 100%...
