Didn't know where to excactly post this but I figured that the general forum would be ok. It's sort of a documentary of all the zelda games that has been released and the connection between them. Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 / time line theory

Interesting... um... was it made by professionals? I'm on 56k, so I don't want to waste bandwidth to see high school students reading wikipedia or something.

It looks nice. Just an overview of all the games really. Seems I need to catch up on some of the gba games :p

It's professionally done (GameTrailers), and it's been somewhat worth the watch so far.

That was really fun to watch. Their timeline was believable, except for the part about OoA and OoS being on the separate timelines. I mean, Link goes back and forth through those games with the password system, completing fetch quests for people in one game located in the other.

Yeah, and now whenever a game gets a remake or a second quest, people will be saying, "Omg that must be in the other timeline!!!!!!!1111111"

I really thought I remember reading in some official book, like a Nintendo strategy guide, or maybe even the instruction booklet, that a Link to the Past happened before Zelda 1 and 2. This split timeline theory is retarded, by the way.

i was working on my own timeline theory for zelda before i played TP. Tp threw my timeline outta whack. While i'll agree that minish cap is definatly a prequal of sorts, i dont agree with alot else of their theory. Just because the sacred realm and such was mentioned first in OOT, doesnt make it the first game of that idea.

I've heard that, while it seems not to be the case, Nintendo always tried to keep the storyline straight. On another note, yay, it's wii-day :D
