hey don't make fun of me, we all think this especially for this run. I just happen to think that Silo was my favorite, and iterating that I'd like this run to be worked on, because what's done so far is awesome stuff. Is that less of a useless post? satisfactory content criteria? (sorry for getting defensive, at least it's not as bad as the Spiderman 64 thread.)
But Zurreco is right, loads of useless posts. And now about the game. I think I saw a speedrun on Youtube (It might have been a TAS but the description said it's a speedrun) and it was kinda meh. I'm still looking forward seeing this one finished.

What a coincidence a string of useless posts. This sort of stuff could have been dealt over a PM.

Oh hey guys, sup. Read this chatlog, it's way on topic. It's from about 10 days ago. Inzult: hey Jack Inzult: How's it hangin Rising Tempest: not bad Rising Tempest: just being hungover and working on Goldeneye Inzult: A deadly combo, for sure. Inzult: How's the progress? Rising Tempest: I started the facilty over because I found a way to save about half a second Rising Tempest: right now I'm at the hallway where I need to fire the KF7 to get a door open Inzult: That's good news. This might answer some questions, maybe. I bet if RT wanted to, he would have posted in this thread by now, so he's probably going to beat me up for this :(

While waiting for this project to progress i thought some poeple might be interrested in watching other levels being done, meaning not only 00 Agent and not in order. Some of my agent stuff are obviously not as entertaining to watch as 00A stuff but still pretty cool. Anyways, Here's a list of the levels i have done: Dam Agent(0:54) Facility Agent(0:44) Runway Agent(0:22) Surface 1 Agent(1:02) Depot Agent(0:25) Statue 00 Agent(2:18) Frigate 00 Agent(0:56) - Hostages failed So yeah as i said if someone's interrested i could upload the .m64's, And i'll definately work on more levels, probably on 00A too since it's funnier.

Headshot count is around 60 for the moment but hopefully i'll be able to do 100+. It'll definately be one of the coolest Goldeneye TAS'es so far.

It's strange that I need the save states because I remember L4yer said that he didn't need any. I guess I'm just noob. On Statue I think it would have been a little faster to take the flight recorder from this spot: http://img205.imageshack.us/img205/813/frvn0.jpg

I believe that for .smv's you can use a different website than dehacked's to create a movie that automatically has the savestate included in the .smv, but it only works for .smvs, not .m64's. here is the website for those interested. however, if you simply download the savestate into your mupen save directory, the movie will automatically start from that point without you needing to manually load anything.

Well the spot used in the TAS has been used by eliters and world record holders for many years so i just assumed that's the fastest spot. I also asked one of the best Statue players in the world and he didn't know either which one was faster. So yeah, you have a good point there.

Control 00A 4:06 I'll upload a savestate later if someone needs it. Anyways, this was meant to be complete like before new year but i had some desynch problems in the very end and didn't finish it until today. Well i ended up with exactly 100 headshots which should bring entertainment for a while at least =b

I think that's a bug, where the gun just doesn't change but he did shoot it. If you think that quality was great it could have been like this! but you don't like that ;) edit: wrong image
