This is just an attempt at setting a record for fastest TAS of a full game, and the SNES version of a certain well-known board game seemed suitable. It could be a second or two faster, but in order to have any sort of style points at all, I did some luck manipulation to make the correct solution be the one where you just keep hitting A (i.e. Col. Mustard with the Knife in the Hall).
I used snes9x 1.43 improvement v7 with just the default recording options. No warps, passwords, glitches, or anything similar were used. This was a very easy movie to make. The worst part was just the minor tedium of finding the particular solution I wanted out of the 324 possible combinations.

Ok.. what to think of this.. Ok. Monopoly is one thing. Since Monopoly is a much more played board game then clue. This game however, just boring. Sorry, but, i really dont get entertained by this. Not saying anything towars the author, but this is the wrong game choice IMO. *Holding my vote to see what other people have to say*

I don't know the game that well, so maybe I can't really judge... but the movie just goes through some menu's. I'm sorry, but I found this movie just as entertaining as the "where is waldo"-movie that was submitted. Like Vatchern said, everyone knows monopoly and you can actually follow the game pretty well. If there where no dice and board animations, and the monopoly movie were 10 seconds, I'm sure it wouldn't be published. I'm not too sure, but I doubt if someone can really see what's happening here. Futhermore I don't think it's right to make a movie, for it being the shortest on the site. In my opinion... the more effort is put into a movie, the more entertaining it is, and you can't really put that much effort into a 28-second movie. I'm not trying to diss you or anything... I just think you should go for another game.

No my friend, this is not as entertaining as my "Where's Waldo" movie, which was 2:29, played at the highest difficulty, and had 8 levels with 4 different kinds of challenges. Played at that level, the game is actually too difficult for many adults. This run merely started the game and guessed the murderer. How the Monopoly run (0:35) got published still baffles me, but in spite of that unusual choice, I don't believe that this run will be published.

Monopoly manipulated luck and showed what many people could think impossible, but this is just like looking inside the hidden cards clue thingy and then naming the murder scene. Not fun at all... Better luck choosing a better game to tas next time!

Clue doesn't lend itself to an entertaining run simply because of the nature of the game. (I'm not voting, I'm not even downloading it.)

One word for this movie, or rather the subject of a movie based on this game. "Weak." Should This Movie Be Published?: Hell No. Reasoning for My Vote: As stated above, it's just like looking inside the mystery clue envelopes and saying "whodunit" from the start. Comments? Critique?: Pick a different game. One that's not so damned "two-button presses and you're done." Anything Else?: Read above. Also, I'm not officially voting as I haven't watched the video, but I know the game of Clue, and I already know this speedrun is going to be boring as all Hell.
I'm not that hard to find... if you know where to look. -=( http://jolikmc.tumblr.com )=-

The major problem with a run such as this one is that it is really easy to reproduce without the use of savestates. You just need to try a few times. There is no 'wow' factor.

I suggested this game as a joke once. I didn't think someone would actually do it. :|
