About this game and movie
Inspector Blindson is a Flash game developed by Rakotilla. It follows the story of the titular Inspector Mr. Blindson, who's on a mission to save a man's life, only to find out that the man in question took the song Pretty Fly for a White Guy way too literally, shortly before being eaten by him.
This movie aims to find the correct tool and rescue the man as fast as possible, and it achieves that goal 6 seconds faster than
the RTA WR by OptiJuegos.
Mechanics
- Moving
- There no acceleration in this game, kinda. Still, whenever you see me hugging a wall, just know that I wasn't losing any time.
- Falling
- If you fall from a distance that's roughly 2/3rds of the screen, you die.
- Corner jumps
- You can stand on the corner of vertical spikes and flames, though, since movement is so limited, you can only do these in some places, not all of them.
Interesting levels
- Level 1
- I actually had to slightly manipulate my position in the bottom floor so that I didn't waste time by requiring an extra jump. If you see the RTA WR, you'll see the difference.
- Level 7
- By doing a relatively simple jump, you can skip grabbing the fireproof suit, saving some time.
- Level 17
- The SCUBA is roughly a second faster than the other safety equipment, seeing as you don't have to wait for platforms.
- Level 19
- Performing a corner jump, you can skip collecting the safety equipment, saving loads of time. If you're wondering, it's only possible to perform it on the outer side of the spikes, losing a little bit of time unfortunately.
- Level 23
- If you're wondering, if you try to complete the stage without collecting the TR-128 (which is slower btw), you won't be able to progress through the door.

Despite this being a pretty mediocre movie, I can think of two screenshot ideas, those being frames 2936 and 5985
