even though i love video games i am a huuuge Sports fan... my favorite spot is Baseball and i wish i can be apart of it as a starting pitcher for any team i dont care.... but my fav baseball team is the New York Mets i hate the Yankees. 2 death! ... also ima New york knick fan well to make it shoprt i root for everything new york xcept the yankees... how about you all????

Baseball is my favorite sport. I like [American] football and I root for the Giants. Basketball/hockey interest me from time to time but I have no passion for them. I generally root for the teams who occupy Madison Square Garden. Soccer entertains me but I don't really know any teams.

Michigan Wolverines (football and college football/basketball) and Chicago Bulls, since they're both my hometown teams. Also, if the IHL were still around, I would say Chicago Wolves.
No favorite soccer team, since if I said that I respect both the German and Turkish teams I would get mugged. Also, the Greek team sucks and they lucked out, and the US team is a lot better than most peple give them credit for.

Its one of the 5 big soccer teams in Rio, named after the famous Portuguese explorer. Mainly descendant of portuguese and portuguese people living in Rio are fans of that team.
This has always been a big issue for me, saying "my favorite team", english is funny, its not my favorite team, its my ONLY team. There's a word for it in portuguese, everyone chooses a team and stick with it for the rest of their lives, and i miss that word when i talk about teams in english. Instantly all other teams are rivals and you want them all to lose. This "favorite" team thing kills the whole deal about soccer, which is competition.
The group of people that are fans of an especific team is called the "torcida" of that team.
The person that is a fan of an especific team is called "torcedor".
And, for lack of better english expression, the act of wanting your team to win, is called "torcer".
I was seriously hoping the NBA Finals would be Miami and Phoenix. But *sigh*
