So, i passed this weekend without internet, forcing me to do anything to entertain me, including doing such boring stage, i finished Find Shuttle and Find Hidden Base missions. Movie File So, i just need to finish 2 missions and i will be in the last stages. EDIT: Forgot to say that i also experimented a bit with RAM Watch and the weapon Memory Adresses, i found how to make RAM Watch to tell you the exact EXP you have for each weapon:

After some testing i saw that getting the Quick Charged Saber is slower, since you only get arround 400 Saber Exp for free from bosses and enemies in the way. It only saves one second in the Anubis re-fight, but i need 400 more exp, that would be 50 charged slashes, multiplying that with 4 it's 200 of delayed frames. So i won't be slashing enemies unless i HAVE to, so you will see Zero shooting like a gangsta from now on ;)

This fucking desert is realy annoying, mostly everything cause heavy lag, anyway, i finaly got to the end of the desert, but manipulating Fenrir is taking too much, anyway here's the progress so far.

For some reason, i can't make Fefnir do that crush attack twice, unless i sacrifice frames, i have manipulate the whole stage and i have used Hex Editting like 50 times (for each bullet, since any of them can manipulate them), but i can make him do the grabbing attack :/

Do you know where the RNG is in memory? It would probably be easier to poke the RNG to find out which random numbers cause him to do the crush attack, and then from there try to figure out how to achieve those numbers legitimately, instead of just trying variations on the input to hope that he changes his behavior.

Here's an attempt, i had to sacrifice 30 or so frames to manipulate him, though, im still unsatisfied so i will keep trying.

FINALLY, finally could manipulate Fefnir, the whole stage is full of shooting, but it's hell worthy, plus i saved 29 frames on the boss fight :) Movie File So, only 2 stages and to the final missions.

Yes, that's real time, im not sure yet about in-game time, but i will answer your question when i beat the next stage, so i can save and now my current in-game time.

Neo Arcadia Tower done, the next stage is the final one, i will submitting between here and a week. About In-Game time, saving after the mission says 14:14, so my estimated In-Game time is arround 16-17 Mins

So bad news (for me) and some good news. Good News: Someone PMed me about a little glitch in the intro stage, that gives a good ammount of Saber Exp without lag, so, doing this glitch will improve both TASes. Bad News: I have to improve both TASes :P I may TAS this, but i think that i should at least work on other things, probably i will do the TAS with warps at the end of the year, or probably in the next year.

OK, this is my newest run@@, it's started befor i finished my MMZ2 run, i don't know who told you about this "secret", and i'll finish this at the end of year~

Well, to tell the truth, im also working on it, and im in the same stage as you, and im saving 128 frames. I also got a desync on the beggining of Neo Arcadia Shrine, probably you are using an old version of VBA.

Made this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1iKZ6zVjLRw It shows a new lua script im working on, it is very simple, it shows the weapon exp counter for each weapon (Buster exp, buster pellets counter, Saber exp, Air slash counter, dash slash counter, Triple Rod exp and Shied Boomerang Counter). It will also put an asterisk when said exp counter gets to the last level. I know that the Triple Rod and Shield Boomerang counters are useless for TASing, but i just put them for sake of completition. It also shows Zero's HP, Inv Frames, Dash Counter and Charge Counter for both weapons. I plan to put more stuff into it, like Mission Points, Enemies Killed Points, etc. With that you would guess how many points you would get at the end of the mission to get in a specific Rank. In the other hand, i wanted it to show Boss's HP and Inv Frames, but it was impossible for me since there are 3 adresses and while one of them is the one that work, the other 2 apparently work for something else. I also may do this for the other Zero games.

Have watched the WIP. It looks very different from the previous movie, that's what I unexpected. Rod is never used in any former TAS, and you showed it. Is that quicker to climb the wall by kicking only one wall rather then kick both two at the sence after getting the rod? And, how's your MMZ2 100% TAS going? You haven't posted any WIP in recent months.

The Rod was picked because how much time it saves during some boss fights, it saves time in Anubis and the submarine part in the Stop the Hacking mission. I think in this TAS is worth picking because of how fast the Saber can level up during the intro stage. About the climbing, it saves a little ammount of frames. And about the Z2 TAS, my personal life has been really busy with the progress of university, but i decided to finish this one firs with my free time.

New WIP Luckily i could hex edit everything till the Stop the Hacking mission without much effort. In the next mission i will do a trick that is only able to do with the Rod, it saves arround 600 more frames.
