final BOSS11454
This TAS is a 454 frames improvement over Xipo's previous submission which was cancelled.

Stage 1:

In the second scenario, better detail processing has achieved 1F improvement. We kill the BOSS of this stage 2 frames quick but because of the frame rule, the improvement was cancelled.

Stage 2:

The first scenario is better handled in detail, reaching the end of the scroll 1F in advance. In the fourth scenario, the characters reach the specified coordinates faster, making the mobile platform appear 3F in advance. Due to the frame rule of the boss in this stage, we can't get the promotion, but we saved 3 frames of lag here.

Stage 3:

In the second scenario, by controlling the appearance time of snails, we have achieved an improvement of 5F here. In the third and fourth scenes, the characters are slightly stuck into the wall, so as to obtain 1 frame improvement respectively. In the fifth scene, skip the last group of enemies with the help of suction, saved 48 frames. In the sixth scene, by observing the instructions of the game, we found that the ceiling can fall faster, and with better details, we have achieved an improvement of 5F here. In the seventh scene, by controlling the timing of the enemy's appearance, the character can pass through without stopping, and all lags are avoided, 22 frames improvement here. Due to the frame rule of the boss in this stage, we can't get the promotion.

Stage 4:

In the first scene, we let the character drag more scrolls and then jump on the boat, obtaining a 66 frames improvement. The second scenario achieved 3 frames improvement through better detail processing and lag control. Due to the frame rule of the boss in this stage, we can't get the promotion.

Stage 5:

The better detail processing of the initial scene improved 3 frames.
5-1: In the second enclosed room, we improved 6 frames. The BOSS fighting was 76 frames quick.
5-2: 12 frames quick in the first scene, 1frames quick in the 4th scene, 76 frames quick in BOSS fighting.
5-3: 34 frames quick in the first scene, 76 frames quick in BOSS fighting.
Final BOSS: 12 frames quick.

Samsara: I've been waiting for this! Judging! Too busy with life at the moment. Resetting to New.
ThunderAxe31: I've been waiting for this, too! Judging.
ThunderAxe31: Accepting as improvement over the current publication.

Can someone share a video of this run? I love this game, but I can't get my emulators working :/ I'm particularly curious about how 76 frames got saved at each of the three tube minibosses in stage 5.
Used to be a frequent submissions commenter. My new computer has had some issues running emulators, so I've been here more sporadically. Still haven't gotten around to actually TASing yet... I was going to improve Kid Dracula for GB. It seems I was beaten to it, though, with a recent awesome run by Hetfield90 and StarvinStruthers. (http://tasvideos.org/2928M.html.) Thanks to goofydylan8 for running Gargoyle's Quest 2 because I mentioned the game! (http://tasvideos.org/2001M.html) Thanks to feos and MESHUGGAH for taking up runs of Duck Tales 2 because of my old signature! Thanks also to Samsara for finishing a Treasure Master run. Thank you for the video, Bigbass! Great movie. It looks like it has less lag, and the new miniboss strategies for Stage 5 are a lot faster.

I don't know the previous TAS, so I can't compare, but this run was quite entertaining. Very nice work, yes vote.
