Sounds like a keyboard limitation to me. Some keyboards just don't recognize multiple inputs at once. You can work around it by going into Controllers, disabling Auto Tab, and binding all three inputs to an unused key.

Go with Autohold found on the first page of the Hotkeys section. I couldn't survive TASing without it, incredibly useful.

I think the Virtual Pad can keep the buttons held, so that you don't have to manually hold them at the same time. Clicking on the buttons in the pad will toggle the activity of the button presses.
